no one gives two shits about non NBA players and their dunking abilities...
Let's see the NBA players do this in the dunk contest:

if they felt like it, there is no doubt they could easily... seriously, no one GIVES A FUCK about some black dude who cant do much but dunk and play streetball...
Wow. Ignorance/stupidity at it's finest. Not even the best NBA players can do what Air Up There can and that's a fact.
THERE IS A REASON THEY DO THE DUNK CONTEST... and to date, NO ONE IN THE DUNK CONTEST HAS DONE WHAT AUT has done.
Do you honestly think they don't give it their all in the dunk contest?

I would say they do not attempt to do things that they know might injure them if they come down wrong... hence the lack of 720's
The general consensus is that no one in the NBA Dunk Contest can stack up to Air up There
Watch for yourself...

LOL.
prove me wrong... you are one of the most ignorant, head up his ass, posters, who has no actual skill sets within the sports that you comment about.

how could he have fucked up his elbow doing that? that is no more risky than just dunking (which in general can fuck your wrist up).
LOL.
I actually agree with mikemike.
Why do you think Jordan didn't compete in dunk contests later in his career?
What about Lebron? Or any other of the big name players today? They do not even participate because they risk injury and some of them humiliation against lesser known players in the league.
Great dunk, but Manu's questionable, yet awesome, charge to clinch the game later on was even better. :awe:
Great game.
KT
So you just proved yourself wrong, because NBA players take risks all the time from dunking because it can mess their wrists up.
Wrists? Really, wrists hurt from dunking? When you finally are able to dunk, let me know how your wrists feel.
Unless you're an idiot and just jam your arms wildly against the rim, your wrists never get hurt. Even on a dunk attempt. Once your arms get to that point and you begin to pull down, you absolutely do not push your arm forward during dunking that will result in your wrists banging against the rim.
It is possible to have your wrists hurt if you twist them while dunking, and then hang on the rim. However, it is my experience that if you do not have a level grip on the rim, you just slip right off from sweat and moisture if someone pulls down on you.
Fingers get jammed at times if you lose control of the ball, but your wrists are the least likely used part of your body that will get hurt. You naturally should be palming the ball and will aim for the palm of your hand to land horizontally on the rim, grasping with the thumb(s). To do otherwise you have extremely poor form and are trying to hurt yourself. I'm 100000000x more worried about coming down on my ankle wrong (again, after tearing ligaments 11mo ago) after a dunk attempt than my wrists getting hurt.

Furthermore, if NO ONE GAVE A SH!T, why the hell does the NBA pay these "black guys who can't do much but dunk" to entertain the crowd?
