Sorry to be an A$$hole but when your thread says you can buy a stick of ram for 28+shipping one would be quick to assume that the ram costs 28 dollars. When I began to read your post you state that you need to use a 20$ MIR. So what your really trying to say is that the ram is 48$ + shipping - 20$ MIR. I think that when there are MIR involved they should be placed in the thread title. Makes browsing much easier.

I want to encourage people to post these deals, so that I don't have to go and find them all myself. It seems to me that we should be thanking people for finding these and posting them, so that hardware addicts like me can continue to buy ram I don't need, for prices that I like.

When I saw 28.00, I assumed that there was some kind of rebate, or that Kingston had decided to just go bankrupt and give there ram away.

gittyup, clearing your cache does not make you a new customer. Buy.com checks BOTH your e-mail address & your credit card number. If you have a multitude of both of these, then you can be a "new customer" multiple times.

Triumph, I tend to agree with cknyc. MANY people have the courtesy to use a title for something like this that reads "$28 after coupon & MIR". How many people that frequent this site are really "new customers" to buy.com? I wouldn't expect a big majority. I could probably spend all day looking for things at buy.com that are at or just above $30 that probalby WOULD be a hot deal for $20 (considering buy.com's generally good prices to start with)& post them. I just don't think that would be of any real value to many people.
