Crazy Mosquito Bite...Anything to be Worried About??

I beleive I got a mosquito bite (it may be another bug) maybe last nite or two nights ago and then swelling is the most I've ever seen on any type of bug bite I've ever gotten. I've drawn a diagram so you guys can see exactly what I'm talking about:

The little red circle is a tiny bump (where bug bite actually occured) and the rest is basically an estimate of the swelling compared to my other arm.

Is this anything to be worried about?? Please help!!

I just drew that in psp for like a 2 second diagram. I don't have a good quality digital camera or webcam that will let you guys see what's exactly on my arm...

it's fine. i had something similar a few weeks ago. it takes about a week for the swelling to go down. it was uncomfortable when i pressed down on it. not painful. just uncomfortable.

if it's painful, go see a dr. if puss comes out. go see a dr.

Don't worry it'll go away. It's probably an allergic reaction, but I've had the same thing happen with spider bites. They suck and hurt but they do go away in a few days.

Just keep an eye on it. If it starts looking really inflamed or feels hot consider getting it checked out.

I think I had a spider bite once. It was weird. It was all red and puffy but the center was white with a black puncture wound. The whole thing was oozing.

Just watch out for cellulitis, that can cause some serious problems.

If the area is big, red, hot to the touch, and you leave a mark in the tissue when you push in on it with your finger(pitting edema), go see a doc for some antibiotics.

Good grief, I just looked up celluitis and now I'm wondering if I have it. I've been having skin problems. Also, I keep getting infected on my right lower jawline. It's almost like impacted zits that won't pop. It gets swollen like a zit but I can't pop it out. As a result that area on my face is all buppy now.

My skin problems might have started a long time ago when my parents brought home a rotweiller for protection. This little doggy liked to chew on my hands when I played with him. I remember my hands getting kind of raw. I also saw him eat his own crap once! :Q

So now I'm wondering if I got some sort of bacterial infection. This occurred over 10 years ago. Is it possible for me to get some over-the-counter antibotics to treat myself? I can't allow myself to actually go to a doctor and get a checkup.

Rated you 10. That's exactly the feeling I have, it doesn't hurt or itch really but when I press down it feels weird, exactly like you described...thanks.
