Creating a work schedule

I need a schedule that has 7-day a week coverage. I have 3 guys to rotate weekends with. I cannot come up with a schedule that doesn't include the guys getting 6 days off when the shift rotates. Any thoughts? Here is how I'm doing it currently.

Me: M-F 8:00-4:30

Guy 1: Su-W 8:00 - 6:30
Guy 2: W-Sa 8:00 - 6:30
Guy 3: M-Tu Th-F 8:00-6:30

How can I make this where the same 2 guys are always working the Saturdays and Sundays without a huge lapse in time off. Any help would be appreciated.

How often do they rotate?

Also, why is giving guys long weekends a bad thing if coverage still occurs? Perhaps they think of it as a benefit to the job.

Just make it so they rotate every month, but one guy loses weekends for that month.

Shift 1: Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon
Shift 2: Mon, Tues,Wed,Thur
Shift 3: Tues, Wed, Thur, Fri

If you need the same two guys working Saturdays and sundays...

Shift 1: Sun,Mon,Tues,Wed
Shift 2: Tues,Wed,Thur,Fri
Shift 3: Wed,Thur,Fri,Sat

Then rotate them backwards, so shift 3 goes to 2, then 2 goes to 1, and 1 goes to 3. However, this creates long ass workweeks that will piss off your employees.

Have them alternate weekends one after the other. Give them the Friday before the weekend off, and the following Monday.

Yes, I forgot to mention that. There can only be 40hr/wk and the new week starts on Sunday.

Not enough information. How many guys do you need per day? How long is lunch? Will they be willing to work half days? Why is the manager working the best hours and not 60 hours with crappy weekends like most other businesses?

Need 2 guys per week day, 1 guy on the weekends. Lunch is 30 minutes. No half days. Manager works M-F because he (me) also covers after hours calls.

Also, not sure it is the better schedule really. I've worked 4-10's. The guys love the 3 days off every week, regardless if it is on the weekend or not.
