Heh hopefully my post saves some people from rather pointless drives. Best Buy has updated their pricing so that it's $219.99 again everywhere. So if you find a Best Buy with one, well they're $219.99 now and they'll scan as such.

Hope you find this info useful, and no I'm not saying this because I want to buy all the Zen Xtras across all 50 states. Feel free to distrust what I'm saying and drive 2 hours for no reason

a note on the questionable "stock mistakes". I have had times where I checked online to see if they had a particular product at my local BB, and have even called, and been told the item is in stock. but when I get to the store, there are none to be found. the employees even look it up, and it says in stock. dont get me wrong, I dont doubt shady employees, exp in this case, it is possible that it truely is a mistake.

Well, I can't confirm that this deal is dead nationwide, but it seems like it Southern California. I have tried 5 around my area and they all show 219.99.

Stopped by the Grapevine, TX store during lunch. The salesguy stated the item was priced wrong and that they sold 1 at $20 yesterday, then halted sales (at $20), and that they fixed the price in the system today.

I went to the one in Northgate near Seattle and they had already fixed the pricing mistake I did overhear two employees talking about it, though and it was humorous. A female employee was arguing that she wasn't going to call people (employees, I assume) who got away with the deal to bring the zen's back in and return them (like they could, anyway) and a male employee was simply mad because "this is going to kill us for the day!" Apparantly they had unloaded all of the players except a few which some employees had stashed behind the counter for themselves! haha I wish I didn't miss out though...

I remember a company had a pricing mistake (Dell?) a couple of years ago, and tried to rectify it by contacting those who bought the items and appealed to their conscience to return it to buy the item at a more expensive price, but still cheaper than the original, or something like that. Think BB will do something like that?

DEAD in Saginaw, Michigan. Went to my local Best Buy today and was told the product was removed from the display and put in storage before the store was open. Signs were posted on employee's computer screens and registers to NOT sell this item whatsoever. The $220 pricetag was accidentally printed as $20. Damn, could've made some quick cash on that one!

unfortunately they had and the employess had bought them already, but at least i found two sticks of kingston 1gb (left two) before it got posted here

went to a couple around Atlanta( Lithonia and Stone Mountain), the Lithonia location said they were out and the Stn Mtn location said they were discontinued and were shipping them back to the manufacturer. Owell, it was worth a shot and this was a great hot deals post nonetheless, it just didnt work out for me.
