Creative GeForce2 MX, the new Celery of videocards! $89, benchmarks!!

I can't find the online store now at work, but does anyone know about the MX II card from Gainward. They seem to make the fastest cards, but there isn't much about them out there. I saw a shop that has a CardEXpert MX twin view with Video out for $139 and seems like a good deal, since the Hercules MX dual head has yet to make it out. Would like some comments...

I saw the review at pc insight, and it looked great.
fast and packed with features.

140 is a decent deal, but if the dual head is that important, I would get a g400 max for 20 bucks cheaper.

I would rather get the SUMA geforce 2 mx, but that isnt available in the US

Trifecta, What OS do you run because Radeon has sh** drivers for Win2k and I think you mentioned that. If you are using Win2k don't shoot down a card just because its release drivers for a newer OS are not up to speck. The MX and Geforce cards in general have had the opurtunity to go through several driver revisions over many months. So Give ATI a chance even though in the past their feet have dragged on creating good drivers.

man, before radeon, i hated ati. i don't have the radeon, but i really want it. for newer games that runs at 32bit, the radeon, even the sdr version will whoop the mx...
now only if ati can work on their drivers some more...

yes, Im running win2k...

Their drivers for this os are abosolute garbage. They have had enough time to develop drivers. How hard can it be?

I don't know if I should get the blaster MX or not.

There haven't been any new game lately that tries to max out these graphic card (Q3 is old now).

Do you guys think I should just wait a couple of months until some really good games come out.

With the systems you list, why would you even consider running games at resolutions and color depths that would allow a Geforce MX to have a chance againsts a Radeon DDR.

Don't say impossible.

With extreme cooling, previously unheard of O/Cing feats are poddible.......remember, graphics cards, and their attendant GPU's are the latest in overclocking adventures...the best is yet to come.
