Good luck getting your rebate from Ecost....I have put in about 6 rebates with them in the past and have yet to receive any!! You might want to check out their Reseller Ratings

Then this is a good deal. It's just that I haven't seen to many good deals on Ecost without having to deal with a rebate!! One last thing...man, do they ever clobber you with shipping charge...$35 in shipping charges :Q

You do realize this weighs like a good 40lbs or so don't you? The shipping isn't that bad, and they actually lowered it. This is a repost (but I don't care) and they were charging about $50 before.

My Gigaworks weigh like 55lbs, not light by any means. These probably don't weigh too much less, maybe even about the same since this has 6 speakers and the Gigs only 5.

Has anyone gotten theirs and can verify these are in fact brand new?

Don't worry too much about the quantity they list. I've seen this deal put up several times already and they "sell out" and then put up a few more later.

Suppose it could run out, but just check back in a day or so and there'll probably be a few more.

Well if you'll use the surround it should be good. If not, you probably were better off with the Klipsch.

Has anyone who ordered this gotten the speakers or had any trouble with ecost? ResellerRatings has them pretty low, and most of the complaints from the reviews are about false pricing on their products and cancellation or orders without notice (because they couldn't sell the item at the advertised price).

If it IS the megaworks 6.1 and it is $99, its a very good deal, even with $30 in shipping.
