sent this in to their tech support. Anyone experiencing similar problems/know how to fix it?
Problem Description:
After trying to load my files onto the Jukebox Zen, I
suddenly got a message saying the nomad is not responding or
is busy, and only about 500 of the 3,500 files had been
transferred. So I reboot the PC, delete what had been
transferred, and do it again. Now I see it transferring
quite a bit, as it went all the way up to the "T" files
(alphabetical order. I stopped watching the progress after
that. When I came back, I assumed it was done. But in
Playcenter, it only showed some 1,500 files had been
transferred. I double checked the Zen, and only the files up
to "L" had been transferred. Then when I tried to delete the
playlist again from Playcenter, it said the Zen was not
responding or busy. When I tried to delete it from within
the hardware, a box popped up, simly saying "Error". So I
pressed the reset button, and it re-built the library. Then
when I tried to access the playlist, it said "Error" again.
I pressed reset again, but this time it kept freezing at
the "Re-Building Library" stage. It keeps freezing towards
the end, right below the "..." text. I have let it sit for a
while, it still did not work. I tried to do it while it was
plugged into the DC adapter, but it still would not work. It
simply gets frozen at the screen, and I can't even turn it
off. Only the reset button works, but that just starts to re-
build the library, until it gets frozen again. My computer
doesn't detect it when pluged into my Firewire or USB port.
Error Messages Received:
first it said "Error" when I tried to access the playlist.
Now it just gets frozen everytime at a particular point in
the "Re-building Library..." stage.
Troubleshooting Steps Performed Thus Far:
I've tried resetting it several times, I've tried letting it
Re-build the library while plugged in, and this still did
not fix the problem. I've let it sit for a while but
resetting it then still does not work. I've also posted
about the problem on a few message boards but have not found
any similar problems or solutions.
