I jumped on the TX for $5 more. It will use a AAA battery IIRC. I had the original MUVO before I lost it It used a AAA

I have a muvo and the thing says about 10hours of battery life but I usually get around 8 hours per non-rechargable AAA battery. If you use rechargable then that varies according to the usage you have left on it.

This thing is awesome. I have the 128MB version and it's the best portable audio player hands down, not to mention a flash drive to boot. All other MP3 players that are flash based have nothing on the CL Nomad series. Nothing.
