As with past Creative products, drivers and firmware are a problem. Read the reviews on newegg before considering a purchase.

Any user review(s) are that. Kinda like coming in here and saying we are all that (i'm saying that cause I really have no clue what lulz is nor really care to find out). Check the other thread on Creative x-fi. You obviously have people that are NOT audiophiles and they want the "best." And if you don't agree with the driver/firmware issues, you've missed the "Fun" in the many years that many have suffered through...and still suffering?

But as I've said, if you are considering high quality sound do some research, even if it's not newegg.

This is a good price for the car btw, so as not to thread crap.

I think the only difference is the X-RAM and the metal shielding. I could be wrong, though.

i'm not really talking about audiophiles.
i'm talking about how it seems as if quite a few of the issues mentioned in user reviews are related to users and not the hardware.
there are many morons out there who really have no business opening up the side of the case. then there are those times where even experienced users make honest mistakes.

i really feel bad for vendors and manufacturers for taking the blame when so many times it's not their fault.

oh, and don't forget the scandal where newegg was deleting negative user reviews.
