Actually, or should I say in my opinion, it is psychological. Creepiness in adults is caused by being told you are a dirty little sexual pervert as a child. This causes any normal sexual feelings that children have to go underground where they fester and become abnormal compulsions like hyper masculinity posing and a desire to have sex only with inexperienced women or children so that no projections of negative comparisons can enter their brains. What makes a real man, of course, is the lack of self doubt. That is also why you find so many men playing a confidence game that involves putting women down. Women, sadly, suffer the same issues and can prefer abuse to indifference.
