Tom's or any other natural underarm product do not work.

Sure they do, maybe you just haven't found one that works for you is all. There are hundreds of different natural products out there, I can't imagine you've tried them all.

Also if you have a perspiration problem, this ALSO gets back to diet. Healthy people, now not someone with a gland problem, health wise speaking, but someone that doesn't have a good diet is going to have perspiration problems, and most Americans don't have a good diet...

I've used many natural deodorants very well for many years without problems.

Underarm deodorants are the worst with the aluminum, along with all the other chemicals they throw in, real dangerous stuff.

I tend to find the things that cause cancer than I CAN control are very small compared to the things that cause cancer I CAN'T control...so I gave up on trying.

It's like...when you take a fluorescent lightbulb and put it on power lines and it lights up...and to think that all that is going into people...or the crap that comes out of every single vehicle....or the powerplants that burn so much crud....or the cable on my joystick which contains lead (California put out a warning on the product, but no other state)

Y'know what I mean?

Well yes I understand, but what most Americans don't understand is health is still in their hands, something I would never consider a small task.

It's a CHANGE of LIFESTYLE, most know nothing about how to do properly, because most of the health industry is money driven, so learning about real health, what it is, and how to obtain it can be an adventure to say the least.

But really all it means is getting back to basics the way our forefathers did.

No fast foods, no chemicals, PURE water, sunshine, deep breathing, most people shallow breathe as they get older, proper sleep, and exercise, and last really understanding WHAT is REAL proper eating.

None of these are small, these are BIG!

Commercial products for human usage are the worst for your health.

You may joke now, but when your health is on the line in 10-30 years from now, because of these types of products you won't be laughing then.

ALOHA

Your Health is in your hands no one elses...

this just in: everything leads to cancer.

Yeah laugh it up, BUT just REMEMBER this.

---> If you haven't got your health, what do you really have?
Oh I am not laughing. Cancer is not a laughing matter, but do everything you are supposed to do or not supposed to do in order to not get cancer and then some people STILL get cancer. So then we come back to what I said originally, "everything leads to cancer".

Stay as far away from it as you can if you like white teeth.

The Crest Pro-Health label tells the consumer that the ingredient (stannous flouride) will stain your teeth unless teeth are adequately brushed. The patients with the staining aren't brushing long enough or that well.

I'll just wait until my doctors start telling me not to use toothpaste, antiperspirant, or other household goods that have been in existence for about fifty years or so.

why do you think cancer rates (the ones not related to smoking) keep going up? Something might only increase your risk by .03%, but there's probably dozens of things that you're exposed to adding those small numbers to your tally.

why do you think cancer rates (the ones not related to smoking) keep going up? Something might only increase your risk by .03%, but there's probably dozens of things that you're exposed to adding those small numbers to your tally.

Increased rates of obesity, increase in sedentary lifestyles, decrease in the quality of one's diet (increase in fats, meats, processed foods, etc). There are far larger aspects of your health that most people are not paying enough attention to that greatly supersede these things. Professionals are not going to tell me to cut back on my deodorant to improve my health.

The problem here is that with most of these we still do not know if there is a true correpsondance with cancer and these products. There are still conflicting studies and the bottom line is that health care professionals do not have the basis to tell us that these products are harmful. Our society relies on specialization and I'm not going to second guess the professionals that we rely on to tell us what is healthy and not healthy. In my mind, it's like flouridation of water. Flouride is harmful and cancerous in large enough quantities. But we have been flouridating water supplies for over sixty years. Since the decision for flouridation is often up to the municipalities, there are plenty of communities (and countries) that never did flouridate their water. Despite having entire generations being raised on flouridated water and others on unflouridated water, doctors still cannot decide on the impact of the flouridation on one's health. I'm not going to worry about the impact that flouridated water makes on one's health when the average American is spends most of their time sitting at a desk sucking back quarter pounders.

The system may be slow, and they could be wrong. But if professionals are having hard times pinning down whether or not a widely used product has long term health problems then I'm going to assume that the impact is very small and that the benefits of normal use of the product outweigh the risks. That isn't to say that I trust them completely. Personally, I no longer take medications for my ADD because I feel that the drug treatments have not been around long enough for complete studies on the impact of long term use.

i notice that the first few uses of a new tube taste really wierd.. like some kinda funky honey flavor.. i dunno why, but then after those first 3 or 4 uses, it tastes fine.. i actually like it after that.. i like the foamy-ness that i get from it, that to me is the most important aspect of a toothpaste, some dont' get very foamy, and i just dont' feel very clean after i use it
