4GB of 1333, 1.5v would be good enough. If you already have that Q9550, keep it. Getting Sandybridge won't be worth it just yet, imo. I'd probably dump the funds into a faster GPU than the GTX460 just because you can afford it, but a 460 will hold over 1080p just fine. Maybe a 6950 unlock or a 6970 perhaps?

I was reading tom's benchmarks and seeing a good 20FPS incease by just switching to sandy bridge, which is prompting me to want to upgrade, haha.

You can probably get more than that from a GTX 570 or 6970 though (which is what your Sandy Bridge rig would cost).

yeah, i5 sees 15-20FPS just by moving to a 2500k. Maybe I should wait for the 6-8 core stuff...I just have the upgrade bug since I skipped the i5/i7 stuff already.

I had the "upgrade bug" very bad...I jumped from a socket 478 P4 to the i5-760, and couldn't wait for the SB release...even though it was only a couple of weeks away.

(well, I COULD have, but with Christmas coming, my wife wanted the parts under the tree...and waiting till January didn't work for her.)
I'm still over-the-top thrilled at my new build. Best one ever.

Like mfenn said you'd get a much more reliable and better performance boost by spending that money on a good GPU than Sandy Bridge.

Can I critique your spelling instead?

I did consider the hyper212, and the HAF case ... but I wanted to spend a little more on cooling, so I can OC better, and the H70 looked to actually perform better then the noctua setups.

I also love the rubber circles in the 600T ... it looks REALLY clean for cable management.

I will agree the 600T is amazing for cable management, and a really good looking case, but I believe the HAF 912 may actually give you better airflow.

The 600T has cable management up the wazoo, which is what is drawing me to it. I have no need for a full tower case, so the 700D/800D were out, which would have been my go to case originally.

From what i've read, the 600T doesn't have any airflow issues.

I have nothing against cooler master's HAF's. I also liked the USB 3 front panel drop.
