Is that 2 instances of prime???

Prime failing in minutes will take closer to .05v to last 4+ hours...

My alpha was sucking air like Shim stated...Also then a nice side case fan worked well...

Well, it wont post @ 270 fsb. Even tried loosend timings, nothing.
Maybe my w/c setup thats coming will help.

What bios are you running?? Have you also tried to lower the divider to 3:2??? Like I said my Abit mobo after 260+ ramge would not run a 5:4 for anything, eventhough I was running higher speeds at 240 1:1.....I had to use 3:2 the rest of the way towards 292 and finally just got close enought to ddr400 at the end....

Try running the 3:2 and see if it is the chipset....

Ok well I kicked it up to 270 fsb @ 3:2 - 2.5-7-4-4
It posted fine, but wouldnt boot windows.

Have you bumped up all the vdimm you could give it??? Try bumping the vagp up to 1.6v....It is rumored that sets the vcore for the NB chipset as well...

So I would try 2.8-2.85vdimm....1.6v vagp....then try the cas 2.5 then cas 3....

Try updating the bios if you dont have the latest. Some of the newer bioses were fixing some compatability and ram issues...
