Yeah the header is huge and worthless. Blue and red do not mix well when reading

Come up with a different header, make it shorter and at the very least render the name of your site in an anti-aliased font

Are you optimizing for 1024x768? Fluid width would be nice

Personal preference but I'd prefer having the date below the title, yank out categories since it's already in the list of tags in the article, and just left-align the comments

i haven't found a better premade theme from wordpress yet. i'm looking to find something that goes well with financial planning. so for now i'll...

recheck the about page for spelling and gramar errors.

i'll see what i can do as far as removing the italics on the post headings.

change the size of the header.

find a lighter combination of colors.

more input is welcome.

Holy Jesus, you weren't kidding. Be glad that isn't on the front page. It's like someone intentionally misspelled a certain percentage of words to see if anyone was paying attention.
There's not much there content wise, seems like stuff taken from other pages that can be easilt found by Googling.
It looks cheap (it's a premade/template and it shows.)
If you want to be taken seriously, start over, design your own page and use a spellchecker.

1 - Header too large. It's okay, but could be better.

2 - The money as the background behind everything. I think people stopped doing things like this in 1999. Makes text hard to read.

3 - Red text on black background? Horrible and hard to read.

4 - Looks like every other lame Blog site out there.
