That's not a Crossfire board, but instead is based on ATI's Xpress 200P chipset (RS480. It's ATIs first real OCing peformance chipset. Crossfire boards will be constructed using the RS482 chipset.

ATI's CrossFire technology which allows you to run two X800/X850 or higher cards in parallel for nearly upto twice the performance.

So this will support the R520 aswell? Or is a separate board coming for that?

I think its fixed a little. Its better than what it was, but still has a lot of room for improvement (in the area of USB). I could be wrong though.

Nope you are right, the SB is still borked for usb.

Cool Man that Grouper board is so cool. I really don't think i would let the usb thing bother me much. It is interesting the price compared to the crossfire board


Off topic Have any of you guys had hacker attacks while logged in at these forums . I got one today also got the IP . It was a good fight to. Wait until his clocks change I won.

oh, i was looking at the price with VAT. so it looks like the grouper will be ~ 145 usd, about the same as the ultra-d came out as i think.
