This may be better served in the Video forums, but I'll try here first!
I just finished putting my Crossfire rig together, and I have a few questions for those more Crossfire savvy.
Dual X850XTs on a DFI Lanparty mobo (V2.0).
1) I noticed in my BIOS that once both PCI-E graphics slots are enabled, that I can choose 12x for the first slot, and 8x for the second (I think those are the max. settings). I currently have it set to 8x and 8x (I thought this was the most my mobo could do). Is there a benefit to raising these numbers? Or do I risk stability?
2) When I enable Crossfire in the Catalyst Control Center, I ONLY get one monitor output. Is this a limitation of Crossfire Generation #1?
Your input is welcomed
Thanks,
