Depends on the game, a lot of the ones on that list are already dated.

Wow Battlefield 4 is already dated? I must be getting old and losing my head. Seriously, no vram brick wall on any of those charts. Even the 2 gig per gpu vram GTX690 is hanging in there at ultra hd. Unless there was stuttering and fps drops that the reviewer isn't reporting? I guess minimums would help indicate running out of vram....

It looks to me that sli drivers are broken. LOL I'll revisit the non 4XAA results and see if it's the same, if it is, it's gotta be the drivers.

With frames so low already it's hard to tell if that's vram kicking it's but or drivers, or what. Still at that resolution, you wouldn't buy a mid range card even for futureproofing, lol.

I agree. No 2gig card for 4K. That would be dumb. I'm sure people that spent $1000 on one thought differently. The 690 sure isn't mid range priced.

Is that not the NV driver issue at 4k?, is it retrospective to the 6xx series?. I havent TBH, seen mention of it since the R9 launch.

Here's no AA 17% slower than the 7990

with AA 43% slower than the 7990

It points to vram wall, IMO. Which at that resolution it doesn't surprise me.

Edit: SLI only seems to be broken in 3 nad 4 way SLI. 2 way looks fine.

So I am thinking both F2F and BTF both saying maybe 1150-1200, well BF4/Mantle is the last straw/chance then for me and I am thinking now I should have acted one of those good deals I posted in the other thread.

Seriously at that price is better to buy GTX 780 or GTX 780TI.Most people prefer AMD because of Price factor which has lost very much at this time and what ever the reason is.

At that price I wouldn't be buying but it may be equal pricing and equal performance to the NV side (780 lightning vs. 290x lightning). You get mantle or physx take your pick.

I expect to see closer to reference pricing on most aftermarket cards, at least once the litecoin craze calms down.

Its a DICE Problem, it was already fixed, but 4K-Compatibility broken again by newer Patches (with 3- and 4-Way SLI only)

It looks like even the regular 2 way SLI is broken. The TI gets ok gains, but the 780 gets 2 more fps by adding another card....

Single card performance seems about right.

I have a feeling custom 290/290X will completely kill NV, in price, performance, power consumption, etc.
Even current 290/290X do a great work against everything NV has on the street.
These charts show hoy meh' SLI/CF configurations are (specially using 3 and 4 GPUs). Boths are plagued of problems, I cant even realise which is worse.

Ok with custom still GTX 780ti is better and also only 20 to $30 difference.
