just keep in mind that the rebates must be post marked "THE DAY THEY EXPIRE".. WTF is up with that?... if this wasn't from newegg... I wouldn't have bitten... they're always quick when it comes to shipping

what are you talking about?! The rebate form reads "Rebate claim must be postmarked BY 7/22/07." Be sure to send a copy of the PACKING SLIP, not the order confirmation e-mail.

also... if you go with the 2 gig usb drive bundle that newegg is offering... you can get an addition $3.60 off the price... the drive is free and they give you a an $8 rebate... shipping cost me $4.40 for the usb drive... but that's still not a bad price.

yea the $8 mail-in and my 1.1% off with newegg prefered account makes this deal hotter than the $85 AR that sold out! 2 gig slim jumpdrive looks nice too! One reviewer said he keeps it in his wallet

i wonder if i'll ever build a dang C2D rig so i can compare these to my Crucial 10th anniv. set.. both are handpicked D9 except i paid $240 for the 10th anniv's (coldest deal i've ever bit on, bec. they just sit in the box!)

LOL, I myself bought 11 gb of DDR2 in the last 2 weeks, due to all the tempting rebates. I suggest you wait another month or so, when QX6600's price drops to $266 (currently over $500). This is a great time to hoard DDR2. DDR3 won't become mainstream, let alone outperforming DDR2, for at least another year. I hope they don't offer a tasty deal on Ballistix Tracer 8500, too; I may not be able to resist.

this is GREAT OC'ing RAM ... Dominator 1333 i believe [or so i heard] ... i picked it up last night along with Vista, 2 Ready-boosts, a Gigabyte Xfire MB, and 2 Seagate 250GB 'Cudas for RAID-0 [cheap also at $66 each], the big Thermalright Ultra-120 C2D cooler and a HD2900xt

there is an $8 rebate on the flash disk from the combo also. you could get that also but adding the flash disk makes it $5 shipping instead of ffree.

then again its basically a 2gb flash drive for -$3 still

I see Newegg has the Foxconn C51XEM2AA- 8EKRS2H for 99.00 AR. That's pretty hot too. Crucial's web page says this DDR2-1066 ram will work in it, but the Foxconn board specs say it takes DDR2-800. So, will the ram just run at a slower speed for the board with no problems? Thanks

it runs fine on my bad axe 2 at ddr2-800 speeds.... the highest option in the bios I have is 800 .... i'll start tweeking to see what I can get out of it in a couple of weeks.... i'm debating whether I should use the E6300 or the E4300 in the board.... any suggestions?

Is that a spec of paper or the Gizmo Jr.?! It's not as wide as a stick of gum! half as long and about same thickness!

So now with this nice weather i'm putting my c2d build off even longer and will just whore my pimp ram until 45nm..

I wonder how brandnew 6300 vs. 4300's are o/c'ing these days..

it came in today ... the e4300 OC i used to have was 2.82Ghz as limited by by ASrock MB and stock cooling ... with this RAM running maxed out and a thermalright cooler i expect to get over 3Ghz in my Gigabyte x-fire MB ... about to finish putting my rig together ... now

now to decide if i want a 2nd HD2900xt ...

Ok, this is a sweet deal, I just got mine yesterday and I was able to run them 1187 5-5-5-15 at pc2-8500 and 1150 at pc2-6400. That's pc2-9200 for $89.00 if I get both my rebates

Only wish I could have bough another one. I'm going to sell my pc2-9200 OCZ Reapers for around 200.00 and ebay and try to get another deal on this stuff, it's great!!!
