Is the ram above still worth using? I'm upgrading to a new mb with DDR4. If I can get this ram for $68, is it still good to use? I see that it's kind of out dated and Newegg doesn't even sell it anymore.
Also, is it compatible with the Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi motherboard?

It's not on the QVL for that motherboard.

Very good chance it will work. No clue if will recognize the XMP settings so it runs at 3200 MHz automatically.

if i use it and its not on the compatibility list, is there a chance it can corrupt my current windows OS?

I'm doing a mb,cpu,ram upgrade without re-installing windows.

It's unlikely to corrupt your OS... it will just lock everything up, or crash the PC.

FWIW, you are going from an Intel install to an AMD install... I would probably fresh install the OS.

Is this Micron E-Die?

I heard that E-Die is very good for AMD Ryzen? How so? compared to what?

Micron E is good, so is Hynix C, just easy to tweak on the cheap with Ryzen. I have some 4x8GB generic (CL19/2666) C-Die that can do CL16/3800 without issue on my 3700X for example.

Great!! So all the ram sold these days are 2400mhz ram with XMP Profiles to "oc" to whatever is on the retail packaging, in my case, 3200mhz CL16, how do I override this in Bios to get this to 3400mhz cl16, 3600 cl16, or 3400 cl14, etc?

Yeah, I never use XMP/DOCP, although I understand the appeal. Tweaking memory can be a PITA. 1usmus used to suggest the CL19/3600 stuff (e.g. G.Skill Sniper) because it was C-die and performed very well for the price, but you have options these days especially with Zen 2 being more robust with its memory capabilities. Assuming you have a board that lets you set memory values you would want to start with his Ryzen DRAM Calculator most likely...
