Crucial DDR2 - prices not hot yet though

Crucial just started offering DDR2 - it's expensive though $335 for 512MB, but if they have it the market will adjust downwardhere

I don't think anyone will see a gain till Intel hits 1200 FSB and above. Till then stick with Dual Channel 3200 with CAS 2.

i bet by the time intel gets ddr2 really in use, the dothan will be on the desktop running an 800 bus with dual ddr800 , on the 915 chipset, with 64bit support.


dothan and pentium 4 use the same bus protocols and can use the same chipsets. i think that is what id be waiting for.

Yup......I'm waiting for my next major upgrade too...BTX....PCI-X and 64 bit processor.....until then I'll stick with my Athlon 2100+ and 1GB of PC2100.
