No, Newegg on ebay had Kingston V300 MLC w/SandForce controller, SATA6G 2.5", for $34.99 recently. Which isn't a bad overall controller, performance-wise, assuming that you don't run into any SandForce-related bugs or incompatibilities.

I belive this is asynchronous MLC which runs like crap together with Sandforce controler.
Also Kingston used bait and switch tactics so review tests of early sample show superior results to what you are actually getting inside.

The only thing worse than V300 are planar TLC drive.

Limited edition, for a mainstream brand, did someone look to much at NVIDIA?

PS With the name scheming they have over at crucial i wouldn't be suprized the limited edition is MLC 3D-NAND :sneaky:
