Crucial question(no pun intended)

Anyone bought a stick of Crucial with this part# CT3264Z265.16T and micron # MT16VDDT3264AG-265A1? This stick has a red sticker on the other side and 0130 MT TG H6V16MB 2-2 -75A on the chips. I just bought a stick from a local reseller, installed it in my K7S5A(took out the pc133 first) booted up, ran SiSoft 2k(406/563 score with a 900 Athlon B, board set at 100/133 ultra2t/6t/3t). I then ran madonion2k1 the pc froze, hit reset switch and rebooted and then got a "While initializing device CONFIGMG" windows protection error. Now I can't boot into windows unless in safe mode. Is this really Crucial/Micron ram?

If you really search in the "motherboard" section, you will see quite a few people having this problem, including me. And, I had the exact same problem with you. I ended up and used PC133 ram.

That's scary if this is happening to a lot of ECS K7S5A boards. I need to stop recommending it if lots of people can't use DDR on it. I saw one guy say he shipped his back because the DDR wouldn't work, but now he's running fine with a new one and Crucial memory. Maybe RMA it???

Got it running...had to enable "Auto Detect DIMM/PCI CLK" and set "SDR/DDR CAS Latency" to SPD. Don't know if this is a Crucial or motherboard shortcoming since I could use Infineon PC133 CAS3 at the most aggressive memory settings. Either way memory scores with the stock bios are pretty pathetic. Oh well, this board will be gone as soon as the ASUS dual board is available.
