LA to Vancouver seems good to me, but I was thinking how do I go back to LA.

that's a pretty good deal for LA to Vancouver. even the balcony reservations are still under $200. I'm tempted. I can find some one-way airline tix back. good for people who want to stay in vancouver a few days after the boat drops them off.

What an incredible find...a 5 night caribbean cruise on a modern ship for $149! I remember a day (before kids) when I would have jumped on this in a New York minute. For those of you who can get away, enjoy!

i was thinking 7days/nights (compare to 5-days you are almost the same need to take a week off) for $299 on Eastern Caribbean with Carnival Paradise.

Anyone with experience of West vs Eastern caribbean?

Please note: your package does not include shore excursions, personal expenses, gratuities, or alcoholic beverages

Well, that just ruined it for me..

My roommate just got done with a 7-day W. Carribbean for just over $500.
So you can get pretty good deals if you hunt (these are decent).

Eastern Carribbean is usually a private islands, possibly keys, Bahamas (Nassau)
and maybe St. Thomas/St. John.

Western is typically bahamas, maybe jamaica, possibly cozumel. My roommate
really like her cruise.

Oh, but best of all, don't forget the hot deals you'll get on some premium Cuban
cigars while you are down there! You can even bring back a box or two...Not to
mention liquor, which is like $5 a gallon!

For cruise reviews go to cruise-addicts.com

Best place to find cruise lines, ships, shore excursions and news. Best reviews of all the cruise sites.
Make sure when you come back to put in a review. I cruise aplenty and use this source all the time.

Cruise 27 last Xmas. Cruise 28 last week of May, first week of June Alaska!

It is against US Law to bring Cuban product into the USA...

What's the closest airport to Galveston, TX?

Nevermind, apparently Houston is <25 miles away.

Anyway, I went on a cruise with Carnival to the Keys/Cazumel over spring break it was totally awasome and there were alot of college students. BTW i though the cubans really were better, just not enough to warrent paying 10X more in the states. Next time i will buy 2 boxes, one to sell and one to keep for myself. If your the kind of person who can get up and take off then you should watch last minuite deals on the major travel sites. Typically those awsome prices are for a sailing 1-3 weeks away. Also cruises are a great deal if u consider that lodging, transportation, and food(usually 4* dining) is provided. Its tru that you have to buy alchoholic drinks, unless of course you packed a few bottles in the old suite case

Typically, Canadian to US border crossings do not require more than your driver's license and an official "stamped" birth certificate. If you do not have a b.c. you can obtain it from the county offices of the county you were born. Bon Voyage.

These are great deals.

One word of warning, these births are in steerage, lower levels, no view to the outside, extremely small cabins.

On the cruise I went on last year cabins could be had for from $700-$5000.

As for the price of Liquor, you can buy liquor and put it in your cabin and get a fountain pass to pay for you mix of choice for the duration of the cruise.
