It might be good to NOT name them after something popular. If your kid is named after the gay vampire in Twilight (the one who doesn't want to have sex with an attractive woman) then that's just asking for trouble.

my first daughter was named months before she was born .. Hayden Gabrielle, but with my second daughter it came down to the eleventh hour ... Samantha Nicole. I even had a poll here at AT going while sitting at the hospital. Had it narrowed down to two names at the time but could just not decide. In hindsight, we picked the right one given how distinct their two personalities are now.

Having incorrect spelling causes all kinds of problems. Most people don't really care if their name is spelled wrong, but the bank sure as hell does care. This $20,000 check says Addison and you're saying your name is Adyson? No deal. Wait two weeks while we verify this.
