As I've said I'm willing to pay 5% of my earning to an experienced Crypto-Coiner under contract for say a Year. Is that Illegal?

I don't think Anandtech want's this - Anand is Sponsored - Just like every Reviewing Site.

Don't be surprised if Anand don't consider this thread STOPPED with the lines I've posted.

Do you WANT the thread closed or something? Don't understand what you're trying to do...?

When trading doge for ltc, how does ltc's current $ value affect the amount (theoretically at least)?

Go based on LTC - > BTC value.

Even now, 2,000 kHa/s can mine 200K Doge a day. At 0.0000004 of a BTC, thats 0.08 BTC per day, heaps more than mining LTC.

Doge itself hasn't drop in value over the recent days, its just the rate at which you get them since difficulty has spiked.

I am not sure I understand. Since I am primarily mining ltc, I guess I want to trade my doge for that. I am just trying to figure out when to do it (as in, when ltc drops in $ value, or the other way around?)

You want Doge -> LTC? Then trade it in when the ratio is high, its hanging around 0.000012 of a LTC for each Doge for the past days. If you see it go higher than that, then its a good idea to go Doge - > LTC trade.

Out of curiosity, do you doge miners expect it to become a thing worth extra value, or are you just doing it because of the trolling nature of even having a doge coin?

A little bit of both. Even at the current troll prices, you can still get BTC/LTC faster by mining doge and trading them for BTC/LTC which is what I am trying to do (at troll rates though).

Basically you have to look at 5 things:

BTC -> USD
LTC -> USD
LTC -> BTC
DOGE -> BTC
DOGE -> LTC

If you can't pair up what you should do from there, then it's going to be a long day. Suffice it to say I haven't seen a SINGLE instance over the last week where converting DOGE -> LTC was more profitable than DOGE -> BTC. Of course this might change if the price of LTC spikes back up faster than BTC on a percentage basis. But let's face it, you are probably trying to cash out straight away anyway, so what's done is done. Right?

Depends if you want the most profitable exchange instantly or rather you just want to horde as many of a certain coin as possible.

Mining doge on my XFX 7850 1GB @ 370kH/s while my XFX Double D 2GB 7870 is only getting 350... da fuq XFX!? My other 7870s get 400.
Try changing your core/memory speeds as well as intensity 17 or so. You also need to ensure that you have a proper thread currency and it's not getting throttled.

His post content and grammar/syntax are suddenly different, to the point I think Z15CAM got hacked or something.

I can't decide if Litecoin is going to hold around $21 for the next few weeks, or if it's going to tank again.

I doubt that it's going up without some unexpected good news, though.

Bitcoin is people's new god

I keep telling people that someone needs to create a JesusCoin for all of the true crypto believers to worship, but nobody has taken me up on the idea yet.

Just remember... you gotta give me credit for the idea and send me a 10,000 coin royalty for it

Sorry I just had to share as a relative newb trying to tweak my cgminer batch files in 2 rigs - I was able to get a combined 1184 KH/s using a 7950 and a 5850 and letting them stabilize over time, though the rate seems to fluctuate over time.

The 7950 is 727 KH/s, and the 5850 is 457 KH/s. They each have their own rig, and are not in the same computer. The rejected rate is 0.197%.

How'd you get your 7950 over 727 Kh/s?!

I made a little over 1.5 btc from doge so far, selling them off as quickly as possible has been a good strategy. I sold a lot of my holdings at .6/million and .55/million.

Most altcoins, as soon as they get added to exchanges, see a spike in value then start to tank. Then it's months before they start to go up again. I dunno if Doge will last that long as it's based on a meme, appeal could start to wear off. Who knows though, but I rather lock in BTC profits.
Doesn't matter if it is a based on a meme or not.

It probably won't last long if no one conducts any sort of business in Dogecoins. The one advantage it does have is that there are a lot of coins, so a lot of people can hold onto Dogecoins.

Right now, popularity is hot because the money printers are getting a ton of money in return and fueling a wave of massive day-to-day speculation. So, people convert Doge to BTC, and then wait for Doge to depreciate some more, then buy up Doges, flip them for more BTC, and so on...

But on average, there is massive inflation going on due to the easy of digging/printing/mining and Doges should be depreciating against other currencies.

Not true, difficulty spiked massively and the flow of Doge is slowed.. sad shibes everywhere, fewer coins to play with.

As more people pile on, it will get to a point where Doge will trickle in via mining.. and what happens if it becomes only equal to other altcoins to mine? Price would have to skyrocket to match. Early adopters with hordes of Doge wins.

We've seen the same thing happen to Devcoin, Digitalcoin, Feathercoin etc etc. They all started out as next to worthless, and people mined heaps per day, until it all slow down, and now they are worth something.

Doge has been going up today. Now at 0.0...45!

It was down to 21/M early today then spiked back to above 40/M where its been at average past few days. I nearly peed myself when I saw massive buy orders of 38BTC worth at that low a price.. some dude just made a lot of $.

Problem is that doge will NEVER be worth anything on the same level as any of those let alone litecoin or bitcoin even if the difficulty gets to bitcoin-like levels. Look at the block allotments and the total coin economy. At this point in its life if doge had the same value as say, Feathercoin, ONE person could pretty much buy out the entire bitcoin economy if they'd been mining on an average setup since day 1. That's just what? 3 weeks?
