i'm so lurking on bitcointalk.org right now trying to find the next sh*t before it takes off haha, like mining new coins for 48h like crazy on low difficulty during the first week they're released or buying it as soon as they hit an obscure exchange website and are still cheap

I'm lightly perusing the webs, but more just watching the fall. I have much sympathy for people selling right now. Then again, not so much, since I'll be buying in at a low.

A lot of people are losing money now by selling and shooting themselves in the foot. It's sad. Only time will tell, of course. >.<

It lacks the hype, wow factor, humor factor or meme angle to really take off. Thats why Doge is against the trend of falling altcoin ratios to BTC, its actually gone UP in ratio, started the day at 2.5/M and now its hanging around 5/M. Whereas LTC (and every other altcoin) started at 0.0356 and is now dying at 0.024..

It drop a lot faster than BTC in value, its ratio is horrible now, 0.024 and falling fast. It's gonna be back to $2 a coin very soon. I think BTC will stabilize around $250 but its only a "educated" guess. There's still a lot of wealth left to bleed as people wake up in different parts of the world.. waking up to a massive panic.

Edit: Just in the time of my post, LTC:BTC ratio drop to 0.023.. other altcoins all dying faster than BTC due to massive panic, convert to BTC to sell for $ to pull out.

I'm waiting for the bottom, as agreed with Silverforce11, probably around $200, since that's where it was at prior to China jumping in the game.

Edit: I originally thought around $400, but I'm not sure how much residual economy will be left over after the 3rd party close-outs in China will impact their off mainstream exchanging and value.

No way i'm buyin BTC before it reaches its bottomest bottom. As for LTC, it's pretty dead to me but i can be wrong. selling doge for ltc seems crazy right now, btc makes more sense. But selling doge is just crazy right now, wait for BTC to reach bottom and convert doge to bTC seems smarter. more BTC. But even if i do that, i will hold most of my doge for a long time.

People selling 10000 doge for like 20 euros on ebay and people are buyin it !!!

ouch. was going to sell my BTC yesterday, but decided against. meh. I'll just hold onto everything and keep mining.

My mom told me to sell a couple BTC when it hit $1200... when she finds out it has tanked, I'm never going to hear the end of it :sneaky:

I won't be surprised to see bitcoin hit double digits but I don't expect it.

Dogecoin has 12 (was it GH/s) whereas on Saturday it had 1, Sunday 3, Monday 7, Tues 12. It's still gaining traction in the mining community.

How you guys feel about LTC's future ? Do you think it will slowly vanish like other alt like NMC/NVC etc... ?

I have that strange feeling that people will fall for doge because it has more personnality than a "boring" coin like litecoin, slowly letting it aside. It's superficial criteria but that's how the world works.

The only thing LTC has going for it was that it was accepted earlier, as a fast transaction altcoin, thats its only advantage. But now, all the newer altcoins are even faster at confirmations or ones with more security. There's no reason for it to retain its standing compared to other altcoins once this crash is over.

Doge already have people going for it for obvious humor related reasons, it is stubbornly going up in its ratio to BTC/LTC.

It's a fad. It'll probably die as quickly as it came into existence IMHO. When? Your guess is as good as mine. Ride the wave until it dies.

People were not taking doge seriously at first but hey, a coin is a coin, better put some humor and love in it, as long as the team is serious, it's no problem. Many pools, blockchain seems strong now. Hell, i even laughed at the doge wallet (much receive etc...). It's still better than another tasteless crypto.

If this thing fails, i don't understand marketing and trends anymore.

Very true that markets are pretty immature; for the short-term. In the long-term, however, they'll eventually grow out of it.

Wish i did the same but i lost 80 euros doing newb trades on already settled sh*tty alts thanks to coinwarz misleading stats few days ago and had no cash to put in doge anymore. Managed to buy 1.5 millions at 0.0000003 BTC though. Now i'm f*cked in getting more, difficulty is too high already and prices are taking off.

I learnt my mistake with missing the BTC/LTC mining train last year. Early days, hoard as many coins as possible and HOLD. Hope that a year or two from now, you're sitting on a massive pile of now expensive coins.

yeah u did the right thing, i came a little late on this thing and the BTC crash made me lose focus. Now i can only hope on a last rollercoasting on doge done by whales in the next fex days but i don't have high hopes, this thing will never see sub 0.0000003 again...

There's a lot of big buy orders at very high ratios, 8 BTC even 15BTC+ to get Doge recently, it seems they are bailing due to the crash and not cashing out (losing $ investment) but rather hoping Doge becomes the saviour coin down the road.
