Just started using GUI miner on my 5850 at stock clocks, running at about 260 Mhash using -v -w128 -f128 on this site http://mining.bitcoin.cz/. Got about .05 BTC in an hour. Is this good?

That's hard to tell, you need to look at how much you're earning in a day. If you're getting 0.5 BTC in a day from one card you're doing good right now.
This is why I use different email addresses & passwords for things/services like this.
I guess that you should expect these kind of things when a bunch of hackers and script kiddies try to get into banking.
Some of the minning pools have stats counters and should be able to give you an average over 24hrs. I haven't used the pool you're using so I'm not sure about them. Right now I'm pulling about 0.4 BTC on my stock reference HD 6970.
My 5850 @850 did .50 btc/24h but after the difficulty increase it went to .30.Drop your memory down to 300-400 to decrease your temps
Yeah I just got an email saying my email has been compromised. It's the same email address that was compromised with Sony and a tone of other services in the last few months so that's not much of a concern for me. I use different long passwords for services.
This annoys me but I only had 2 BTC & $0.01 in my account.

I just clocked my 955 down to 800,it's not worth it to run on the cpu
I also just got a notification that hackers were trying to break into the GMail account that I used for my Mt Gox account. I doubt they got in... like I said, I made my password WAY different than the ones I usually use.

besides
spendcoint
mt gox
eggbit
what are some other places that accept bitcoin?
At that rate, you'll only make about 0.30 BTC per day. Overclock your card to 825-850 mhz.
I'm always pretty bad at remembering different passwords though . But I have different ones that I use with different levels of difficulty. My e-mails are on a different password than Mt. Gox and even this forum (which is on a different password than Mt. Gox).
My GPU won't overclock.
Have you tried MSI Afterburner? Bumping the voltage? How good is your PSU?
Have you tried changing the "EnableUnofficialOverclocking" from the msiafterburner.cfg file to "1"?
How can MtGox just reverse transactions? I thought once a transaction was made between wallets that it was the miners themselves that 'validated' to prevent that sort of thing. I guess this is assuming buying/selling coins on there is done between BTC wallets, which could be incorrect.
