I pay 6c per kilowatt hour during off peak times and 10c during the day during the week.Depends on cost of electricity. The 28nm chips are pretty efficient so it's probably profitable but not very much so. I see mining more as a hobby now.

Even at 10c/kwh, at the current difficulty and price, it's still profitable. You won't be the next Bill Gates / Warren Buffet anytime soon, but you'll earn some beer moneyI pay 6c per kilowatt hour during off peak times and 10c during the day during the week.

Thanks for that. Only $5 per bitcoin. No one uses Paypal unless you sell directly to people.
Mt Gox or Tradehill are the places to sell Bitcoins.
For stubborn cards (like the 6950), I use ATItrayTools to get them to a nice, low 200MHz mem clock. Saves about 35W at the wall.

Chiropteran, even with your settings I can't get diablominer to work.
Extract the zip to your "c:\" root
open a cmd prompt, cd c:\DiabloMiner
C:\DiabloMiner>DiabloMiner-Windows.exe -o mine2.btcguild.com -u karnos_uno
I've updated a few systems to Cat 12.3, but am mostly still on Cat 11.5 and running cgiminer.BTW, you all, What software you all using ? and What Driver Ver and AMD APP you all using it ?
Hey guys... I'm using Deepbit and have been using it for almost a year now. It seems that looking at BitCoinWatch that Deepbit is shrinking and BTC Guild is growing. Any reason for me to switch to another pool or anything?
Eclipse is great for dedicated miners. I use Mtred.com because it has zero fee PPS and I don't always have my 7970 mining.
