I did. Could it be I'm using a different GPU to you and need different flags? Haven't messed with those.
I've used the same basic config file for a 7950, a 6950, a 7950 and a 6590, and a 7770. I can email a conf file, or you can email yours. I'm sure we can figure out what's up with it.

Never mind, got it. I think I missed the bracket at the end, or accidentally deleted one of the flags or something.

Glad to hear it.

To add additional GPU's in the same system, just add additional settings to some of the config options. I add the second gpu settings to powertune, intensity, and worksize.

e.g.
"worksize" : "256,128",

With the super-easy ability to add backup servers, you shouldn't really run anything but cgminer.

It's quite possible more GPU miners are jumping back into the pool because of high BTC price. Also possible that ASICs are finally coming online. Who knows. Like one of the posters has said, all that matters is the price to difficulty ratio.

yeah I thought my 16 cents a k watt was bad. right now I pull 2500 watts an hour. or 60 k-watts a day cost $9.60 usd but I get about 3 a day off my heating bill. so I am paying 6.60 usd a day or 200 usd a month for 6.2Gh.

I am now down to .5 or .6 coins a day. Still that is 23 to 28 usd a day before power cost or 17-22 a day profit.

Network hash goes up every day it got past 50Th. Pretty soon it will be over 60Th. Difficulty will go past 5,000,000 soon. I have to say no one thought GPU's would still turn a profit this late in the game.

The end for gpus is near at least for me as soon as the summer comes that 100 off for heating will vanish it will turn into 100 more for AC. That is a 200 dollar swing.

Geez... Even Litecoin is getting tough to mine. So much for racking up a big pile of coin while it was cheap and easy to get.

Our version of the FTC has actually been investigating on and off for years whether our electricity situation counts as a monopoly. There are heaps of power companies here, but power costs never seem to go down, and instead they increase charges without telling anyone, they introduce weird surcharges at random times, they made lame excuses about inflation and the small market for electricity and the higher cost of renewable energy whenever anyone asks them about it, and the worst thing is that there's no point switching because they're all like that.

I actually stopped mining a few months back when difficulty went up to the point where it was no longer profitable. This was when the cost was hovering around $10-12/BTC. Now, though, the difficulty has trebled or quadrupled...but so has the price per bitcoin.

WTF happened overnight? $53.99 high in the last few minutes!

holy crap!! resisted selling so far.......going to let it see what hits in the next couple days.......if it cracks 60......sooo selling

I HAVE been letting it build until it reached 50 I was up to 5 coins . I sold 2 for 103 usd at fast cash I still have 3 that I am holding.

At btc buy (gift cards) they are paying 53.29 in amazon card. While I was tempted to get 106 for 2 coins . I took the 103 direct to paypal from fast cash. These f'ing coins have taken off. I am still waiting for my 2x jalapenos and 1x little single from BFL but they can deliver slow if they want as I fear the BTC price could drop if they ever deliver all the hash power they say they have.

ASICs coming online, GPU miners will be switching to litecoin. The Butterfly ASICs supposedly started shipping this month, so I'm sure some have gotten them or maybe the Butterfly guys have horded some to reap the high price haha.

Supposedly they have the parts and are assembling them, so I'm sure some are online. At 4GH/s at $150, just having several thousand dollars in them out there is enough to mess up the current difficulty. The total hash rate has more than doubled in the last 2 months, so obviously more than some 5850's have come online.

Bad part about Namecoin is that it uses the same SHA256 method that Bitcoin does, so it will not be bitcoin-ACIS immune. Litecoin, however, is at the moment.

Don't know about lukers 5850 ones
But I know lot of 79XX are crunching BitCoins for sure....
I have not seen any ASIC machine crunching Bitcoins.
But who knows........ right!
