Does anyone know how to fix this? My share acceptance is really low. None of it is getting rejected though.

Is this for doge?

It's been like this for a while especially with the increase in net power and difficulty. The fast block rate doesn't do it any favors. Blocks get stale too fast.

I dont see a problem with that at all... are you just not seeing much come acrss? could just be higher difficulty blocks being sent to you

What's the trick in setting the difficulty per worker? For instance, I've got 3 miners: 1x 7790, 1x 7950 & 1x 7970. Each getting: 200kh, 620kh & 620kh respectively.

What would be the recommend difficulty sent per each...?

errr. I guess it doesn't matter @ doge.netcodepool.org. They set difficulty automatically: 256, 512, 512.

basically a low dif setting means you're pinging for work constantly so in a good pool that works great but in trash pools like doge you want a pretty big dif because work orders are hard to get. middlecoin is on DOGE right now so once they shift off of DOGE things will drop back down to sane levels. Anyway like I said on the last page put in a super low order to BUY DOGE cause its about to tank for a lil bit

BTC @ 676 & Gox @ 744 & btcchina @ 629.... that low on btcchina is not good. think I'll wait a little bit.

Cool. Thanks for that. Heard of middlecoin, but never checked it out. Looks good, but @ the same time it has high fees and I wouldn't trust that's entirely efficient in choosing which is most valuable. Probably better than me just monitoring my self though.... heh

You hope. It could very well be down to $200 by Friday. I think the news is being overblown, but then again I think its value is way overblown as well, especially now that Silk Road is gone. Waiting for a viable PUBLIC marketplace to show up before virtual currency actually becomes "legit".

If I had any nominal vc (btc/ltc) to take a bet on it seeing <600USD tomorrow at any point, I'd take that bet. It definitely won't see $900 tomorrow.

I just started this game, so I don't even have enough altcoins to play this game.

it won't on gox, btce is more susceptible but gox is the only thing that matters really. china hit $1k a week before gox did so I don't believe in following their ups/downs unless they're insanely major moves.

There is major money sitting between 500 and 600 with buy orders as an incredible safety net but if we hit into those I expect a massive surge/sink again as those guys lock in their profits and put the cash back down low. I had expected this drop over the weekend but rebought too early apparently because I was expecting the 650 area over the weekend just to fly back to 950 by tuesday so I guess we're a couple days behind

Improved GPU miner for Nvidia:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=373853.msg4001581#msg4001581

Hey, folks - didn't have an account, so sorry for throwing this in the Newbies section instead of alt-coins, but:

I released my code for an improved scrypt miner for NVidia GPUs with the Kepler (GF104) and newer (GF110) architectures.* I alluded to it a few days ago in a post about mining on Amazon EC2, but finally got the code cleaned up enough to release today.* Description of the algorithmic changes and links to code here:

http://da-data.blogspot.com/2013/12/inside-better-cuda-based-scrypt-miner.html

Expect something like a 20-40% speedup for compatible cards.* Kepler is pretty new - I've tested it on a MacBook GT550m (from 34k with cudaminer to 63k with my code), on Amazon EC2's Grid K2 cards (150 to 220kh/sec), and on a Tesla (something over 330, but I never benchmarked cudaminer).

It is _not_ well integrated with an existing miner.* The README includes directions on how to hack it in to cpuminer, but it's kind of nasty and for people at least vaguely familiar with a compiler.* I believe that the author of CudaMiner is in the process of incorporating my code improvements into his miner software (itself a derivative of cpuminer), so I'd keep an eye out for an announcement from him if you want something easy to use.

I'm not installing anything that could contain malware, virus, or trojan on my PCs. Not worth it to me. Reasonable minds can differ. Most pools have an option to send you an email if a miner stops sending work, which is a reasonable and safer alternative.

Well everything is way down, doesn't get cheaper to mine though.

At some point the exit gets pretty small looking if this tanks much more and that would really drive prices down.

Looks like it's time to bail, guys... the price of Bitcoin just slipped below $600 and Litecoin just went below $20. The ride has been fun while it lasted...

I personally think that if the world had a public marketplace like eBay (NOT silk road... but with more commercially traded goods) that took virtual currency, that's all it would take.

That would bring in major legitimacy that the crypto currencies don't have yet. Still don't know what it does for the price though, it's been on such a run I think that legitimacy may simply be needed to keep value above $100. Of course I have no idea, but I think bitcoin is legit enough to get in a public marketplace like ebay in the near future.

I'll only start to worry if it drops below $550, which was the previous bottom a few weeks ago.

I'm sure we'll test below that to shake out/test weaker hands currently hanging on.

Nature of highly speculative investments like BTC for the value to swing violently. Anyone in the game in a serious way better have iron grips. I have no idea where solid support is, but i'd guess well below $500.

What happened to Doge.luckyminers.com? It's been down for 24h now. I had tons of coins stuck in the pool...

cgwatcher can automatically restart cgminer under certain conditions:

Did that since day 1 but no luck.
