I will give away some NXT to those who want it to start forging (Mining).

Post your addresses

I have little idea of what this is or if I even set this up correctly, but ... I just inputted a passphrase and got this:

10785309834834600386

Does this work like a brainwallet?

Thanks

The exchange is also ridiculously buggy for some reason.

So if i understood right, to mine NXT, you just have to keep your account online and that's it. Well, that's certainly green and no specific hardware is needed. Thing is, i have a hard time trusting the wallet, it's not very user friendly. Not to mention that withdrawing from dgex to your wallet takes between 12-24 hours...kind of scary. Because of this, and the alpha state feel of the coin, i'm not investing a too huge amount in it for now. Promising though.

you have to first do a few posts in the newbies section, a few hours later your account will be updated.

So I need to know someone who will give me some NXT so I can start mining it, but the mining doesn't require any compute power?

I don't really understand, but this is my NXT address: 1581400078068688432

you will never be rich with that pessimistic attitude

Fact : i invested only 0,3 BTC in NXT, it worth 1.5 BTC now. I'll send you a postcard from my coconut island

yep, as i understand it, either you buy a little on dgex with BTC like any other coins or you find someone to donate a bit if you absolutely don't want to invest personal money in it. But it's still pretty cheap, you can get a few hundreds/thousands for a fraction of a btc.

This coin is supposed to be a bitcoin successor, so it does not aim at 0,00...1 dollars but to 1 to 100 at least. i let you do the math. Why not trying.

So how do I get my LTC to show up in my Litecoin wallet? I mine at wemineLTC and according to the website I have .33 LTC.

I started up the Litecoin - Wallet app today and it's up to date with all blocks/transactions but my wallet balance is 0.00 LTC. Do I need to send them from the website to my wallet or something? How do I get my Wallet to reflect my actual balance from the pool???

doge rebirth ?
Don't dramatize. It didn't even drop to last weeks levels. It certainly dropped alot from early speculation, but is apparently going up thanks to fat 48BTC ! bid on coindedup.
Doge seems to be coin to go when BTC falls - or at least from what it looked like last time btc crashed to $400.

NXT to the floor because of DDOS attack, people will buy massively

Doge is like a big fat snail with all those massive buy orders

Coinedup had a huge buy order of DOGE at 0.0000005 It was something like 60 BTC last night. Looks like its been chipped down to 18 BTC now.

that kind of guy could almost rise the price all by himself...or dump like crazy to re-buy lower haha. Doge will move at some point considering the massive amount of BTC involved in it but i really don't know when.

Also, with so many doge, even a 5-10% increase would make his day, so it may not move that much.

Blah.

Your LTC will stay in your WeMineLTC account until you transfer it to your wallet.

Yes it is a brainwallet. Can be accessed from any NRS software running on any PC anywhere as long as you enter that same pass phrase. If you check your account you should see the 250NXT I sent you.

Correct, no compute power is needed. NXT is 100% Proof of Stake. You need coins to 'mine' coins. As long as you are logged into your account and have a balance you have a shot at getting coins.

You can go to my public hallmarked node: https://162.243.214.68:7875/

Login using your secret pass phrase and as long as you don't click the lock icon in the upper left the account will be open and trying to 'mine' coins.

NXT is mooning again, well, it didn't take long. I kind of like the concept, no need for a gpu or extra hardware, so green, my electricity bill approves

So, the more you have coins, the more you gain coins or what ? Seems a bit unfair for latecomers. But it's the same with any coins out there anyway with diff rising up.
