Isn't NXT a borderline pyramid scheme? "Buy in early folks and you'll be on top! You'll get the most coins and as you earn those coins you'll get bonus coins off those coins!"

I dunno, it seems to be added and removed from exchanges on a daily basis.

Well those of us who funded the project donated a total of 21BTC to get it started. It was totally open to anyone if you followed Bitcoin Talk forums. Individuals were limited to 1BTC each so as to not concentrate all the coins with a few people. Granted 70 something people isn't a whole lot, but Bitcoin, really all crypto currencies start with a few number of people to begin with.

We are now at 3300 accounts and climbing. Those of us who want it to succeed are doing our best to get NXT out to as many people as possible. Those of us who don't, well they aren't.

It is currently only traded on one exchange: dgex.com. There is already code being worked on to remove the need for exchanges altogether, the network will be the exchange.

It is being removed and re-added to coinmarketcap.com constantly due to the fact that it is only on one exchange and that makes it hard to get an accurate price representation since if one had enough BTC or NXT on there, they could easily manipulate the price.

Yeah I definitely like certain aspects from what I've read about NXT - like the lack of wasteful power use. I'm just not so sure about the distribution of coins. But I guess it's not that different in the sense that if you have some money and you get in early you stand to make a potential profit as the popularity/use grows

Must be some kind of conspiracy by the doge community to save doge from being forgotten. That's pure love.

My wallet doesn't mind... bought a fair amount between 0.0000004 and 0.0000005 and sold at 0.00000088 after seeing the massive 19 BTC wall at 0.0000009.

Gaining more BTC is always a good thing.

Anyone know why multipool and hashcows are mining DOGE, but the most profitable "coin" according to coinwarz (seemingly by a substantial amount) is net coin?

Does it have something to do with how they individually calculate "profitability"?

some coins have a transient higher profit on coinwarz, a lot of them have varying rewards or difficulty adjustment thats wacked up.

Wall was demolished pretty quick, I see this hitting about 150 pretty soon. Lots of ppl who bought at 50 would be laughing! hehe

NV cards suck at mining so he, being a pro-NV/anti-AMD poster, likes to diss mining and thus, indirectly, AMD. Chimax meanwhile continues his anti-NV/pro-AMD crusade that's been going for even longer than Cloud's pro-NV/anti-AMD crusade. Maybe they can get a room and annihilate each other like matter colliding with anti-matter.

The latest version of cudaminer begs to differ. Granted, AMD cards still enjoy a significant percentage performance benefit over their price point counterparts, but cudaminer 12-18 brought the GTX780 to within the realm of stock clocked Radeon 7950/7970 performance for mining.

Is there any way to change the passphrase of your current wallet in NXT mining?

Also, which exchange is the best to trade DOGE?

Don't go by the "jumps" on coinwarz. Often times when you look at coinwarz, whichever coin will be on top is influenced by a single outlier buy order for a small quantity that has no relevance to the grand scope of that particular coin.

ALWAYS double check with the exchange before you make any rash decisions. As always, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is.

Yeah, glad I didn't sell EVERYTHING, but kicking myself for not holding more. We'll see how high it goes.

No. You can create a new wallet with a different pass phrase and transfer the NXT.

Also everyone who posted a NXT address should have 250NXT from me.

Cryptsy is all over the place when it comes to "real-time" market depth. I'm seeing buy and sell orders go quite a bit above or below ask/bid, respectively. They need a better exchange engine.
