You are horribly mistaken my friend...I so envy dudes in Canada or Northern USA.. dirt cheap electricity, freezing temperatures half the year and chilly the other half.

http://www.torontohydro.com/sites/electricsystem/residential/yourbilloverview/Pages/TOURates.aspxTO is still better than a lot of places outside North America I think. I'm in Edmonton and mine is roughly 9-10 cents/kWh WITHOUT the additional fees which bumps it up to more like 14-15 cents/kWh.
How is it in TO? I haven't lived there in 5 years so I don't know how it is there anymore.
It's cause the power draw is simply redic for the kh/s.
A single 780 is probably pulling twice as much power as his 7950 for the same kh/s.

I understand that. I bought the Sapphire HD 7950 3GB deal that was posted yesterday on this thread. It already shipped and I'm expecting it soon. What's the best possible setup I could make for that card? I haven't explored much because all I had mining until now were a couple of HD 6950s with 1 GB.
Edit: By setup I mean OC and/ or cgminer settings. Looking it up on google I see loads of different recommendations.
How about 30 cents USD per kWh WIHOUT the extra delivery charges included? Yeah.. you guys have it good.
Depends entirely on what your card likes.
I used the default settings in GUIMiner to great effect, towards the end I started experimenting more and found one of my cards really enjoyed sky high thread concurrency... like 45k.
How about less than 6 cents USD per kWh + delivery charges... Gotta love NE Ohio.
I pay 9 cents per kWh after all delivery charges are added in here in Texas.
I'm in TVA land... last bill was at $0.0816/kWh.
On a side note, my Powercolor 7870 Myst that I got for $20 (not a typo, traded a handful of 2gb sticks of ram and a $20 bill for it) has been repaired and is working. Took a gamble on a dead card with an Acelero Extreme II + Stock Heatsink to boot, have myself a nice working quiet little card.
he guys I did a very dumb thing I transferred my doge wallet coins to vircurex to my DGC address and not my DOGE address. I've sent a support email. Is this fixable?
Thanks

Normally it says invalid address and cancels transfer?
God I love when that happens. Especially if I can fix it... good feeling ......and profitable.
Setting up a NXT account/forger on 1 of my miners. I don't completely trust it for some reason on my main computer.
I tried tweaking my rigs earlier, but I can't get them much higher than ~560KH for my Sapphire 7970 (102-c38608-00-at, red & black single fan model) and ~580KH a piece for my 2x Gigabyte WF3 7950 (revisions 2 & 7(??) or something like that). I tried tweaking the memclocks and gpuclocks to the "magic ratios" like all the guides out there insist on, but can't get anything close to even lower 600's on intensity 13. They swear up and down ~730 is normal or some shit. I will try and flash the BIOS on the 7950's. I think the rivision 2 can take the magical "F43" BIOS.
The problem is that once I mess with gpu and memclock values I can never go beyond intensity 13 without the hashrate comepletely collapsing to like 300kh. So it's easier, more stable and the hashrate is the highest when I dont do any flags on cgminer except intensity... like 17, 18 or 19.
7950 at tigerdirect for $249-$25 (TD clearance rebate) -$20 (card rebate). Run, don't walk, and don't use shoprunner since it seems to cause the price to skyrocket to $439.

Edit: TD link may be dead, but Amazon is also selling it for $229 (through TD):

700s are quite easy on the 7970 undervolted, what OS and how much ram do you have? Have you tried 1050/1500, -g 2, tc 8192, i 13
Win7 4gb. Why go for such a low TC when it's really like 22400?
What do you use to undervolt: msi afterburner or sapphire trixx? What values?
Ill try those flags in a sec. GF just fell asleep!
Wishing the best of luck to my fellow crypto pioneers in 2014! Cheers to all whom embrace change for the better. ^^
