the people at bitcointalk are some what d*cks
showed the my heatware and references

says " I don't know what that is and I wouldn't know if its your or not but please send first"

I've done plenty of trades on bitcointalk (some over $5k worth) and no issues.

Need to do your own due diligence. Stay away from trading with members that have only been there for a few months, have spammy posts, etc. You could always get a trusted member to do escrow and if the seller/buyer doesn't want to, it's very likely a scam.

If you have already done the setx GPU ALLOC thing in the command prompt (I believe you only need to do it once), up TC to around 24000. Don't set the shaders if you are setting thread concurrency manually...and a 7950 doesn't have 2560 shaders FYI, it has 1792 or something like that I think. You're giving your 7950 false credentials lol

Man, I just can't get any progress on this. I removed the --shaders parameter, I added GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT and GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS in the bat file. However, when I up the thread-concurrency, cgminer 3.7.2 give me "maximum buffer memory device 0 supports says" error that I just can't solve. My system has 16GB ram so I don't think that's the problem. Sigh... Google doesn't really say anything useful on this error, off to Bing? rofl...

Hmm, is doge starting to wag it's tail? It's climbing a bit since the recent lows.

Do you guys think there is a chance it's going up much, or just another little spike in the road? I thought it had pretty much rolled over and was just going to exist at a pretty low price.

High thread concurrencies are only usable with the g-1 switch. Are you using 2 gpu threads?

Nobody knows to be honest. I had faith it would recovery to around 50.

I unloaded a lot of Doge last night at around 39, its not optimal since its now looking like its heading up a lot higher. Now all i can do is wait for the next crash and buy more back when its lower.

Thanks for the tip. Totally did not realize I needed restart after setting GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT variables. Restarted my PC, set the g to 1 and now I'm running smoothly at 24440 TC and I19. Thanks for the help guys.

I dunno, but I sure wasn't going to give up my 200k+ doge for less than 2LTC... Waiting for it to hit at least 5 before I make the trade.

I don't think doge has much potential, I think its best days are long gone by now, but I wouldn't be surprised if it still has its ups and downs.

Guys, is there anything I can do to get the most out of my optimized XFX 7950? Running two GPU threads and thread concurrency of 8192 results on 40% hardware errors and a hash of ~490Kh/s at intensity 19. With one GPU thread and thread concurrency of 24000, I got no errors and ~550Kh/s.

Here is the cgminer.conf file:

Code:
"api-allow" : "W:127.0.0.1",
"api-listen" : true,
"api-mcast-port" : "4028",
"api-port" : "4028",

Its very hard to say, its been down flat for about a week straight but this rise was long overdue IMO. Quite a pleasant surprise.

Two threads are probably best at about intensity 13. Higher intensity is not always better, especially with two threads.

Try 1 thread, TC of 24000, intensity of 18-20, and OC speeds of 1000/1500. That should get you about 630kh.

If you run 2 threads you can only go up to intensity 13 without hardware errors. I let cgminer figure out TC with single threading on my 7950s and at 1000/1500 each they get ~600 kH/s @ I-19.

Oh! I never knew that... Explains why I was getting weird results. Still getting significantly lower hash rates regardless.

Can I have the GPU engine and GPU memclock set to 0? I want to control everything via MSI Afterburner only. I even disabled AMD Overdrive already. I have those two settings set to 0 right now and it seems to mine fine.

Most of your conf file is not needed - just delete all of that. All you really need is the pool info and:

"scrypt" : true,
"gpu-threads" : "1",
"intensity" : "19",
"lookup-gap" : "2",
"thread-concurrency" : "24000"

Does your Gigabyte board have a molex power connector going into the board by any chance?

That's the only thing that comes to my mind.

No, they both use the standard ATX12v connector.

I currently have an Asus P8Z68 Pro board running 3x unpowered pci-e risers with no issues. I am just puzzled why my Asus P8Z77 board is just fail. I've tried 3x Intel Dual 10GbE X520-T2 NIC's with the risers on the Z77, and it works. So it's definitely a power issue.

Guess I'll have to sell it or use it as my main rig.

Also, I sold like 300K doge around the 30 mark, fml.

Try
--thread-concurrency 22400 -I 19 -g 1
gpu @ 1090/1250
Gave me 653Kh/s when I had my R7950s

Test I did
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

color 2
cgmimer -I 19 -g 1 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 24000 --lookup-gap 2

1050/1250 @ 625Kh/s
1075/1250 @ 635Kh/s
1085/1250 @ 640Kh/s
1090/1250 @ 645Kh/s
1105/1250 @ 650Kh/s
1125/1250 @ 660Kh/s
1125/1475 @ 668Kh/s

Hey guys so I have a question. I sent some Doge to my Cryp addy while wallet was still syncing.

I waited for it to sync but it never did. Then I downloaded the new wallet and deleted the block chain for it to resync.

Now I am seeing new transactions confirmed but the ones I sent to Cryp still have a question mark next to it and zero confirmations.

What does that mean?

It means cryptsy sucks.

My doge confirmations took almost 24 hours when they first added it.

I don't know, I kind of feel like doge is the one coin that is finally realizing the potential of a decentralized electronic currency. People are "tipping" those things all over the place, and it's kind of nice. It enables microtransactions without significant costs, delays, or hassles. It has a low enough value, and enough of a laugh factor, that people don't feel "I need to hoard this" like BTC and LTC and other "serious" coins that, you know, could end up really being worth something some day, so I'm going to hold on to them, goldurnit! It's kind of refreshing to see people freely tossing around things of actual value in return for value received, even if it's only 5¢ worth for a funny joke or a helpful article.

I've got 100k Coinye mined, I'm switching back to doge. It just feels so right.

Lol, I was able to get just under 600 Khashes/s on my the Powercolor 7970 I had with 850/800 and 850/900. I don't know if The Stilt's BIOS has done anything but change my default clocks to 955/1500 instead of 925/1375 though. I don't know if fglrx sucks or if my card needs different optimizations...but my best hashes are still around 680 Kh/s at 975 Mhz/1500 Mhz...

What's up with using two threads? Aren't GPUs massively paralleled already? How does running mining in two main threads help there?
