What is the next coin to pump and dump ? Any idea? Mining Doge seems like a waste of energy, Although Electricity is free here (Paying ~0.04$/kWh in Egypt).
Nope.Is ANY exchange taking AKC yet?!?!!? Good god...
Nope.
Coin appears to be dead. Dev has disappeared. Some PR dude is trying to take over the coin in exchange for a ton of BTC.
I've given up trying to sell mine. There are NO buyers at all, at any price (at least, none that I can find).
Nyancoin? I'm mining that. Join http://fortynyaners.com/ if you do. They need more hash rate. I don't like joining the huge pools because of 51% attack and the block reward is spread with too many people. What is the next coin to pump and dump ? Any idea? coinwarz is saying that bbqcoin is becoming profitable to mine again.
Ah... Bbqcoin. One of the original pump and dump coins... You can't go wrong with a classic

Dev handed it off to poolminedev or whatever his name is. "PR" dude is apparently not authorized to be PR, so he's just trying to score some free AKC...
I'm not hopeful that a new dev team and marketing approach/rebrand will do the trick, but I'm just mining AKC for the lulz.
Also working on setting up my water cooled 290 rig. After how much of a pain it has been to set up, I say screw water cooling for mining rigs - just get riser cables, it's such a pain in the rear to set up a full custom loop. Spent all afternoon and still working on it. Then again, it's for my gaming rig so it was purely for performance reasons...

So what's everyone mining?
CUrrently all my rigs are mining PTS. Pull about 3 PTS a day.
Then will switch back to either Mint or Dark after 28th.
Very happy to have mined Mint during the first week and now watching it take off.
Now wish the same would happen to IFC, Moon and Tips.

FINALLY..got my Ubuntu PTS miner for the 290s up and running. Took a while cause I'm a linux noob!!
290s hashing away at ~3500cpm at stock settings. Satisfied with that.
If anyone any other linux noobs need tips let me know.
Wish there was something like Afterburner to set fan speeds and monitor temps though...I'm doing it all by terminal which is a pain.
What have you had trouble with?
What kinda loop are you building?
Now that I've got it all up and running I am quite pleased. My 290s are hashing away at 870 kH/s scrypt, each @ 47C with a power usage of 220W each.
XSPC Photon D5 --> EK Blocks for 2x290s (parallel bridge) --> XSPC EX420 Rad with 3x140mm --> XSPC EX420 Rad #2 with 3x140mm --> back to pump
Then a Swiftech H220 kit for my CPU loop.

How are you measuring the power per card? At the wall or at the card? (I.e. are the pump and radiator fans included in those calculations?)
Likely not. The cards are still pulling more power, just not running as hot. Otherwise that'd be some thermal dynamics magic happening there. >.<
It's not magic, its ICs having less leakage at lower temps.
