Crysis 2 Demo is out!

This game is too easy in multiplayer. I don't use stealth ever. I just walk around with nanovision on in armor mode and take out noobs. End most rounds 7-1 type ratios.

That's because you are playing against people who aren't very good.

What modules and weapon setups do you guys like? The Air Stomp I never used and can't imagine much cases where it would be helpful.

I actually liked airstomp just for the entertainment value. It may not be worth using all the time, but I actually found making a quick melee class was quite entertaining. It's pretty easy to stomp somebody from above and the demo map I played had plenty of ways of getting above somebody.

U know it's bad when you have to release a patch to a demo for a game that isn't out yet.

- “Press Start to Begin” has been changed to “Press Enter to Begin” on the main
menu
- Ping changes in server browser - no ping for anyone now (all 0)
- Fixed crash if getting force disconnected from a dedicated server (although
the force disconnect issue has been resolved anyway)
- Account creation now works properly
- G35 headset fix now implemented
- People not able to sign in with certain characters such as “-“ or “numbers”
in their username, now can

I don't get it. I never seen Steam update to 1.2 and my screen still says "Press Start to Begin". Also I still have pings of zero. Although that makes zero sense to me that they were purposely remove the ping feature on the browser by making them all zero... Yet I had no problem playing on servers that I assume were updated to 1.2.

Anyway, I played a few more and up to level 9. I actually rocked it for once, although other than a couple of guys, the level of competition seemed much lower. I went 14-1, 12-3, etc. Finally it was nice getting some streaks going.

I actually got that one orbital cannon twice. First time I get an assist only, second time I was waiting for better targets but it didn't let me not shoot it. Then at the last moment I notice it was counting down and the thing ends up shooting in the middle of nowhere. So once you bring it up you can't not shoot it?

I even got that friggin' gunship once, but it was a piece of junk and didn't get any kills. So here I am happy for getting the orbital beam twice and gunship once and neither gets me a kill.

For the nanosuit module levels, it sounds like they are upgraded? So like if you have the faster weapon reloading, at level 2 it will get even faster? Are the nanosuit modules the only thing that benefits from upgrades as the level increases? So increasing your SCAR level is just for XP?

Are the attachment unlocks only for a specific gun? So now that I got the second unlock for the SCAR, there's no reason not to use the hologram and the reflex sight right?

My preferred class is a SCAR + reflex, Nova 12, frag, armor enhance, covert ops (reduce sound of footsteps), and aim enhance. I don't see myself using that air stomp much, and the side pack is not much use for me but I generally don't last long enough to be out of ammo, plus I can pick something else up. The faster reloading is okay but when I get in a firefight and empty a mag on someone, I always switch to pistol. I haven't tried the proximity alarm or the notify if someone cloaks but I think the three I use are best.

Can't play the demo online. Keeps disconnecting after a minute of playing in any map or server, and even resets my rank to what it was before I entered the server.

at least they are offering a patch instead of just ignoring the issues.

I haven't played for a few days and just now wasn't able to. The server browser doesn't bring up any servers. When I went to the Recent tab, all of them showed 999 and couldn't be joined (server is unavailable).

What?! Noooo! I liked the demo quite a bit but not really able to buy the game at this point. I guess that's not a surprise with the demo going out as the game comes available, but crap I would have like to played it more.

I'll have to wait for reviews. I've loved Crysis for the singleplayer, so as long as #2 delivers a solid SP campaign, then MP is just extra. But unless either amazing, I think I'll have to wait for some kind of sale.

On Steam's main page, there is a Crysis 2 banner with big letters "Demo Available Now". There is still a Download Demo link too.

Is there a new one or something? I deleted the demo a few days ago after TechBoy said it was over.

Files are still there to download, but they closed down all demo servers for all platforms so you have to buy to keep playing. That's how it was for me though... they may enable servers again later or something?
