Haha. Well I just formatted last night and picked up a GTX580. Seems like a good test for 25x16.

Game seems really good so far, however it's clearly after the Call of Duty crowd but with only a splash of the original Crysis mixed in. Not thrilled with the washed out colors either...

One of the only games where the SP much more interests me than the MP. Happy to try it though!

The field of view is piss poor and unlike the first, you definitely cannot play this game with 30fps.

Multiplayer is not that great, definitely trying for COD type gameplay. I like cod mp, but this is pretty atrocious.

Graphics are nowhere near as nice as the first. Maybe this will improve with DX11.

Also, way, way, waaaay too much motion blur.

Not just motion blur. Skyscrapers about 10 blocks away look like they're rendered through 50 feet of Vaseline. Crysis's distant mountains are vastly more detailed. I don't understand this choice. Manhattan isn't nearly that blurry.

It's really Call of Duty plus nanosuits. The cool thing is they kept up with the vertical design of levels. This was something they implemented in Crysis Wars that wasn't in the original. You can REALLY make some awesome shortcuts using the strength jump now. They combined speed + strength into one mode (smart) and heavily nerfed the speed boost (again, smart as far as MP goes).

I might not even bother with the single player for awhile, this seems quite addicting.

cdn means content delivery network and i've downloaded a lot of EA game patches from that server so i trust it... DLing now!

Very disappointed. After more than 2 years after the original Crysis, Crysis 2 actually looks worse. So much for advancement.
