Go to Youtube and search for videos for a popular PC / Console FPS, like Black Ops, L4D2, etc.

Watch game play footage from a good PC gamer. Then, watch game play footage from a good console gamer. Notice how much longer it takes the console gamer to aim over their target, and how inaccurate they're allowed to be while still scoring hits?

This because a mouse is a far better aiming platform than a controller. The mouse allows you to pin-point exactly where you want your crosshairs to be, rather than telling the game to move the crosshairs in a certain direction at a pre-determined rate. A good PC FPS gamer can snap their view around 180 degrees at the drop of a hat and still score a headshot, while a console FPS gamer will need to strafe and re-aim to get as close as they can. That's not to say that you can't be good with a controller, but all other things equal, a good KB/M user will virtually always win against a good controller user.

It's been said multiple times, but I'll reiterate - keyboards and mice are far superior for FPS (and RTS, and several other genres) of games than controllers. If you get used to using both, you'll find a controller slow, clumsy, and overall infuriating for FPS game play. There's a big reason why they don't let Xbox 360 or PS3 console gamers play against PC gamers.

I am getting old. When I was a kid I asked my dad why people died and he said it is because the world changes and people find it hard to adapt. Now I understand. FPS games on a controller. Totally unfathomable.

Graphics definitely better on PC... which like others have said is pretty much the whole hype behind Crysis.

I bought crysis and the aliens just didn't show up fast enough for me. I got tired of the monotonous slaying of koreans very fast and after spending about 6 hours playing the game, decided it wasn't worth playing.

QFT. I've played Call of Duty 4, MW2 and Black Ops on 360, PS3 and PC and the way people play the game is totally different on PC versus console. I can't stand aim-assist nor can I stand the higher pings associated with gaming on a console due to the lack of dedicated servers. Why not just do away with aim assist? I've had moments on PC where I've missed entire magazines by inches with no auto-aim preventing that from happening, but that's completely fair in my eyes. For me it's a simple choice, I would rather play a game that has less lag, is faster pace and doesn't have a computer helping me to aim.

Keyboard/Mouse vs Controller discussion is silly. Sure I hate the controller and no matter how much I play FPS, I can NEVER get used to it. BUT I also realize that MANY people out there prefer it over M/K. This is STRICTLY Personal preference, only OP can decide on that (and PC will have Controller support as well)

Same for Graphics, MANY people don't care about graphics and Console version will do just fine. Eye candy is not for everyone. This is a personal preference as well, although PC version will look LOT better (simply due to the fact that Console hardware was outdated when it came out).

Yea it was, when 360 came out it had a GPU similar to my 800xl....which was already 6 months old and semi outdated.

I'll say again, some games DO look great on the 360.

God, even Crysis 2 demo looks good, sadly it's a bit jagged and the field of view/depth, distance Antistropic is blurry, but it's still enjoyable.

And im not being biased as i game on PC, sometimes even on the wii!

1024x600 which all recent CoD run at on consoles would not look incredible on ANY game. That's not even 720p.

Crysis 2 has to move to consoles for a start, especially since it will sell damn good on it, unlike the huge profits they never quite made with all 3 releases for the PC, is it any wonder they are creating their own free 2 play game? due to the swift sales and profit they#l get just from the 360 fanbase alone.

Why play on a console?

Don't need to worry about having minimum/recommended or above specs. No f**king about with whatever issues arise on PC. Can sit, relax and play casually laid back with a wired or wireless pad without being a full on nerd glued to a monitor like ya do on PC.
It's fun, sometimes boring, but what do I prefer? PC. What do most others who game? CONSOLES!

I am defending the work credit that should be given for the effort that was put into modern warfare 2 and black ops on the 360, it does look good.

Oh sure, maxing the game out and running well over 60fps constantly kicks the consoles ass, but still (for the hardware in the 360) it's pretty damn good still.
I don't refer to the PS3, due to it having a rubbish GPU, a powerful SPU (even to todays standards) but sadly, it's best use would be with a better media centre. Gaming on it mostly sucks due to either at 30fps, or jaggies (No AA) or textures/shadows look terrible or have none lol.

Besides all the various arguments of consoles vs. PCs, the thing that I find most debilitating and hairpulling is the lack of dedicated servers on consoles. This happen quite too often for my taste, but some douchebag got owned so hard in Blackops and leaves, and he turns out to be the host. Then the next douchebag leaves because he happened to be on the same losing team, and somehow he also became the host. Yay for the "Migrating Host" screen, makes me want to punch a baby in the face.
