They can always change pricing though...don't take that as anywhere close to absolute.

Well, you've been following it more closely than i have.

Those look a lot more official that what i'd seen.

If it's indeed $300-350, that's not too bad.
Granted, i have this funny feeling i'm going to see them lose to my lowly GTX in a number of 2560x1600 benches if the current numbers flying around are true, so eh...

Of course, for the first while we'll likely see them go for well over MSRP regardless of what they get priced at...

Haha, you know eVGA carefully works this out with nVidia so timing is just right (wrong for the buyer)

Now I wonder what kind of characteristics the 9800GTS and the 9800GT will have, the former probably a 8800GTS clone and the latter a 8800GT clone but it will be interesting to see if NVIDIA adds new stuff like better power management or some other thing to spruce things up.

Why would he run this on a DX9 system? Anyway, 4.125 FPS at 1680x1050 with 8xQ on High Quality is still not really enough. The 1920x1080 with no AA isn't bad, but I guess we're still a few years from Crysis being playable with everything cranked up.

It looks like I was hoping for too much.

...and a few years away from it being fully patched. LOL just kidding.
