That's probably motion blur thing, a special effect. Also seems the character is more affected by bullets (camera shakes when the person's hit) but yea appears slower than dx9, but kinda hard to tell

I remember when 3DFX tried to push a proprietary version of motion blur that not one game used (with their 5500 line). I don't know if I liked it then, and I don't know if I like it now. I'm not playing the game so it's hard to visualize how it affects the gameplay.

True, I haven't received my 8800GTS and I'm worried about this game too and I upgraded to DX10 just for this game

Best advice right there.
Why people upgrade there hardware to play a game 6-8 months out is beyond me

Sure 10 looks better, but it seems like using DX9 in multiplayer would give a player the advantage with less debris etc.

It was a driver enabled effect, it did work in the original unreal tournament.

hmm its not in 9/4/2007 ?? ....i might be a little sleepy but is it not 5/26/2007 so is it 6-8 months ??

The game as of right now has a Q3 release date.
Is 9/4/07 (September 4th..I'm not in Europe )correct, this we do not know.

All we can do is wait...
