Too bad there is no mention on what hardware is being used. If they are playing it in Vista with DX10 does that mean there is an actual working 8800 driver out there?

Really tough to say if those LCD's are 3007's, 2407's, or even 2007's... The one in the office at the beginning running Windows Media Player looks like a 2407WFP to me (and I'm typing this on one). The ones at the kiosk might even be 2007's - I'm pretty sure those are not 3007's...
Either way, it's running quite nicely from what I can tell.

This one sure looks like a 3007

I agree, and I don't think they said anywhere what resolution they were running, or if it was in DX10 mode.Originally posted by: cmrmrc
I dont think those are 3007 either...seems way too small to be true. And the game doesnt seem to be running really smooth...just look at the scene where the guys is shooting at the copter...

This implies that the game is running at 1920x1200 under Windows Vista and most likely a single 8800 GTX. 2407 owners, rejoice.

I know it's just a pre-alpha demo, but it looked hella choppy during the helicopter scene... oh well.
The best possible resolution is 2560x1600 (for now anyway).here is a video of Crysis running in all its splendor at the best possible resolution anyone could hope for.

I think an AT CES review mentioned, in passing, that they witnessed crysis running 2560x1600 on a single 8800 GTX card... at the MS booth maybe?
Edit: Nope... can't find a link. I could've swore I read it somewhere but I can't find it now.

I'll wait for XboX 360 version. I saw on G4 that they were planning a simultaneous release for PC and Xbox 360. I'd rather spend $60 for the 360 game than $675 for an 8800GTX and Crysis.
