I pre ordered it for $22.99 from amazon couple weeks ago ,too good a deal to pass up.

Im glad the game actually runs good. The original Crysis has good graphics ,but nowhere near to the point where it brought every system to its knees.I knew it was released too early.

I was just thinking that where in the hell is Crysis: Warhead and STALKER: Clear Sky. It is the weekend and I've love to play both of them. Looks like another few days wait though. I'm definitely buying both of them.

Yeah, I still play the original multiplayer, but I think it lacked something intangible I can't really describe. I wish they had done BF2 in terms of the feel and scope precisely, but with Crysis graphics et al

ya, me too, it's missing something I can't describe.

It's missing a decent community. You have your carebears who cry and succeed in changing all the servers to FF off, no base camping, no bunker camping, no nukes for 30 minutes, no missile launchers, no C4, and no vtols. Then you have players on 8400m's spamming how the game sucks because they only get 10 fps on their "gaming" laptop. And finally you have a fifth of a server hacking because Crytek made the game easily exploitable and stopped making patches for the game after the Warhead announcement.
Yes I am quite disappointed in the multiplayer. I think the singleplayer is amazing but it seems like there was very little focus on the multiplayer, and we can see the results. So this Crysis Wars it mentioned in the review would make Warhead all the better, although from what it says it seems like only new maps?

I guess it's more deathmatch style now, but that isn't what I found missing from the multiplayer. Though it DOES have this quality of being very cumbersome; cumbersome vehicles, cumbersome framerates, takes forever to get weapons and then you don't get to keep your rank, etc

Think I might just buy the retail. I love Steam, but it isn't always mod friendly.

Some of the Crysis mods were superb.

What will the online multiplayer aspects of this game be like? Will players be limited to the stock maps or is it possible for people to make custom maps and mods (ala Unreal Tournament)? Will the anticipated Mechwarrior mod run on Warhead or is that only for the original Crysis?

I think Crysis Warhead is backward compatible but not vice versa, so Warhead mods won't work on vanilla Crysis.

There will definately be custom map mods for MP.

They rebalanced most of that, specifically the vehicles and weapons. All reviewers have said the multiplayer is considerable better now.

i liked power struggle a lot, but having a decently coordinated team was what made it so fun IMO. once the helicopter and VTOL got enabled, those things were unstoppable and sucked the life out of it for me

Does Warhead come with the sandbox editor? I never got the original Crysis, but Warhead looks like more fun and editor looked crazy.

I'm pretty shocked by this as well, I would have never thought I'd see an EA game on Steam.

Were you able to cancel the EA order? The website says "reject the delivery", heh. Not sure how to do that on a download.
