Crysis has a much more serious tone than FarCry. There's just much less humor, dramatically less. However I don't see that being a bad thing, because its context fits its seriousness. On a side note my favorite one-liner in FarCry has always been "I'm gonna tare you a new one !".

My favorite one liner is: "Your ass is grass!"

There is a bunch of hidden humor stuff.
e.g. try to read the label of the small water bottles... "Blackwater"
or pick up a newspaper and read the headlines: "coburg party town of the world" (small rural town in Germany where Crytek was located before they moved to Frankfurt)
some magazines say "New Nanofashion?" and on one the NK leader says "No crysis yet!" (the guy seems to be a mix between Cervat Yerli and real NK leader Kim Dong Ill
The situational humor is funny a lot of times. I once blew up a toilet with an NK soldier in it. Or imagine fooling with chickens, and being noticed by a NK soldier whilst running around with the chicken in hand.
Lots of free play + physics = good fun

There will never be a Far Cry 2. When they made the deal to go to EA they lost the right to make another Far Cry.

I just hope the expansion and follow up game don't take another 3 years.
