Thanks!!!

If the order goes through this will be an awesome deal.

edit: the picture matches a 6600GT, too. There's a SLI connector on it and it has BGA memory.

Ordered one as well. Don't even have a PCIe board yet but at this price I think its worth jumping the gun.

really nice deal. Shame I would rather eat hot coals then use ddr2. So no pci-e for me just yet.

You can either wait for Nforce4 boards in a couple of weeks or just ebay it if you don't need it.

All 6600GT cards are 128 bit, but they consistently outperform some 256 bit cards.

Though a 9800 Pro has 36% more memory bandwidth, the 6600 GT can do 31% more megapixels per second than a 9800 Pro.
Not too much different than a PCIe 9800 Pro... for $139 it's hard to turn that down. Actually in most benchmarks it bests a 9800 Pro except at 1600x1200 resolutions, but you don't get a card like this for 1600x1200, this is a midrange card targeted primarily at 1024 and 1280 resolutions.

If it's really 1200 MHz memory (as it says in the xfx specs there,) that's very cool. 6600GT is supposed to be 500 Mhz (1000MHz effective)

at 1200 MHz, the memory will be nearly 9800 Pro speed
9800p = 21.7GB/sec
1000MHz/128 bit = 16GB/sec
1200MHz/128bit = 19.2 GB/sec

At that speed you're virtually at 9700Pro memory bandwidth (9700pro is 19.8 GB/sec)

I think I will have to pass, don't know when I'll get around to building a PCI-E machine.

Yes but the card itself owns 9700Pro in all of tests. Refer to Anand's review.
