They work together, but:

- Do not go for LGA 1155. Choose the current LGA 1150 (Haswell). The prices are usually the same.

- You also need DDR3 RAM.

-GT 630 is usless. Do not buy such a slow card. Either use the integrated graphics, or buy at least a Nvidia GTX 750. If the budget does not allow i3 + GTX 750 and you want this PC for games, then it is better to downgrade the CPU to a Pentium so that you can afford the more powerful graphics card. If no games, then drop the discrete graphics card and aim for Core i5.

From AMD, go for R7 260X or higher level graphics card.

What do you use this PC for? Gaming? What resolution is your monitor?

yeah I would recommend the z97 and 1150 chipset. alot better. And amd board with ati card is not necessary. you can run a nvidia gpu with amd cpu with no issues. i've done it before. that 630 is not great for gaming, its like a entry level card, go with at least a 650 ti or a 750 ti, more performance and better. get a SSD, there are alot of inexpensive 120gb ssd's that will boot up the system super fast. use that blue drive as a data drive.

I would avoid GTX 650 Ti. But I do not think that you can still get one, anyway (new, not second hand).

Also, a Z97 motherboard is to expensive for a budget gaming PC.

Try to make something like this:

Pentium Haswell + B85 motherboard + 8GB DDR3 + GTX 750 Ti 2GB + 1TB HDD + 120GB SSD (this can be added later).

Choose a Haswell, not a Haswell Refresh CPU with a 8-series board, because a Haswell Refresh may require a BIOS update (and to do that, you need a non-Refresh Haswell).

If you have to choose between a 1TB HDD and 120GB SSD, then choose the HDD, because games require a lot of space.
