Ok since I have to wait until July to get a new Phone (most likely a Galaxy SIII) Ive decided to try out some custom ROMS for my phone to help hold me over until I can upgrade again.
Other than rooting/jailbreaking, I've never installed any custom ROMs before so I have no idea whats out there. I can just tell you that I am a guy who likes to tinker with custom options and stuff. One of the main things that I'd like as an option to orient the phone horizontally by default. Don't know if that's available.
I'm not a complete noob when it comes to this. I have installed alternative firmwares before on other devices like DDWRT and RockBox and some others, and even done some SLIC modding.
Nothing to brag about really. But I dont worry about bricking stuff because that doesn't happen to me.
But anyway, just looking for someone to point me in the right direction in regards to this.
