Cut Shaving

what's the best way to stop a shaving cut from bleeding on your chin?

so entirely annoying

doesn't really stop it though, not on the chin at least

put a tiny square of toilet paper on it. The blood will hold it there and once the paper is saturated, it will just stop and after 10 minutes or so you can just peel it off.

I tried one of those pencils once, it didn't stop the bleeding and hurt like a motherfu.....

It'll clot eventually. Tp, aftershave, scream. Repeat if desired.

I think stiptic sticks/pencils are for nicks. If you take a chunk out of your chin it won't help.

actually, alcohol-based aftershave will close the cut faster than just letting it clot... i can't remember whether it's because of a tissue constriction due to the alcohol, or whether it's merely due to the local temperature drop closing up the pores, but it works...

meh, it's a lil' bit of pain, but it works better than a cup of coffee to wake you up in the morning

LMAO. Damn that's a good one.

Anyway when I end up cutting myself I just go for the aftershave. Stings a little, but helps it stop a bit faster.

I recommend Hydrogen Peroxide.. it'll burn slightly if it's a large cut but for nicks it seals em right up.. some beige crap will appear over it.. leave it for a few minutes and wipe it off and the bleeding should have long been stopped..

Treat it like any other small cut. Apply some direct pressure. Just putting TP on it probably won't stop it.
