Do they give good deals? You could get:

AMD Athlon 64 FX-55
ASUS A8V Deluxe
2 Gigs of PC3200 Corsair XMS Pro
ATI Radeon X800 XT PE
74 Gig Wester Digital 10 000 RPM HDD
Audigy 2 ZS
500 Watt PSU
2 Sony DVD/CD Burners
Creative 5.1 Speaker Set
Case with neon lights and good cooling
Keyboard and Mouse
No monitor

I don't mean to create a flame war if this question has been asked before. It is worth buying from this site? This all costs 3000 bucks.

It is decently prices but I would want another HD for storage, and I don't know why they go with the A8V Delux over the A8N. If I was paying $3k I would want the second one. You could build the same computer for less, but still a good price.

it's the 74 Gig one. Forgot to say that, I just edited it. Would there really be a difference between a 10 00 RPM HDD and a 7200? If not, I would just get a 250 Gig 7200 RPM HDD.

And I think you can get the A8N. I just don't want to pay for the SLI.

But for that price it should include the A8N, thats what I meant, not that you should get it.

There is a difference, but it wouldn't be too big depending on what drive it is. A 250GB with a 16MB cache and NCQ would almost be just as fast, plus you have a lot more storage. Do they have something similar to that? That is what I am getting only 300GB from Maxtor for $200.

I would say they probably add approximately $600 to $700 on the price that you could make it yourself for.

I don't know. I just build my same system on their site. It came out to be less AND they added Half Life 2 and a 80 Gig hard drive. This is getting me to think... Maybe they charge more for shipping.

Newegg and Zipzoomfly are good vendors

Cyberpowerinc is a good maker as well...just be sure you see that the systems default to no monitor, speakers, OS. Its pretty good pricing overall considering you have the inhome service and warranty. You could save a couple hundred doing it yourself, but thats the ole catch 22.

CPC is pretty good, and cheap. Shipping is $75 though, so factor that into the cost. Great configuration options though. Try starting with different base models and you may end up with a different (hopefully lower) price.

I've bought from them and been very satisfied. No probs with the 3yr warranty/service or any RMA request. You can check prices and compare with newegg.com etc. Realize that you do pay something for such a warranty (on-site) and the assembly/shipping.

The support peeps sounded like they were from India.

I have just compared all the prices on New Egg. I would save about $500-1000 if I bought the comp from CyberPowerPC.
