Yeah, that trailer by the end the MS conference definitely woke me up.
I'm generally happy, from what was "shown". But I'm not going to fall for a trailer that have obviously been scripted to be spectacular and presentable at a big convention, and event like E3. I'm going to need actual genuine gameplay in front of everyone, with random Joes going to play it and giving their comments about it (the worst type of "demonstration" we can possibly get is whenever some guy from a dev team shows up on stage, or on the dev team's booth later on and have their guys "playing" the game for the crowd; THAT stuff, for me, is a big red flag).
And, CDPR please this time, do NOT try to look tough for the cameras by showing some super detailed scripted "in engine" demo only to downgrade it later on. We KNOW you can make actual good games with good gameplay and especially good characters, writing and quests. I do NOT need some linear presentation of a Mega Super Duper Ultra HD particle effects system (obviously in the rain) and rendering techniques in a deserted street (at night, duh) with one single car with 4 quadrillion polygons passing by. Just show me the game "as is" and I'll understand on my own if you're pushing it too far and if it's plausible that 'x' % of it will be cut out or downgraded later on.
I just want them to be respectful of our intelligence, transparent and honest. Do that, essentially give me Witcher 3 in the future and I'll be there Day One throwing money at you.
